Description

TeamGantt is a project management software company that specializes in simple and intuitive gantt chart tools for project planning and collaboration. Founded in
009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore in Baltimore, Maryland, TeamGantt was created with a single purpose in mind: to bring calm and clarity to teams who work together.TeamGantt was originally founded in
009 by John Correlli and Nathan Gilmore under the name Groundbreaking Designs LLC.At the time, John and Nathan were both developing software for a large roofing contractor in Baltimore, Maryland. They searched high and low for a good way to schedule and collaborate on projects online but couldn't find a solution that did both well. They decided to tackle the challenge of building their own gantt chart software on nights and weekends. After seeing their software’s potential, John and Nathan released an early version for other companies to try. It turns out, they weren’t the only ones who needed a better way to manage projects! The first public release of TeamGantt officially launched in November
010, and John and Nathan had their first customer within a few hours. TeamGantt quickly took off, attracting big-name customers like Twitter, Expedia, and Turner Broadcasting in just the first year. After the successful launch of TeamGantt, Groundbreaking Designs LLC rebranded to match its flagship product. Now, our company and software platform are both known as TeamGantt.

What do you like best about TeamGantt?

TeamGantt has the ability for multiple collaborators to interact in real–time and visualize progress together. The speed with which I can organize tasks, set priorities and modify deadlines is a before and after when it comes to planning activities that are understandable by the whole team; I'd also like to point out that in the visual schedules allows us to immediately identify tasks by category, status or urgency and thus improve their follow–up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

The visual layout in TeamGantt is clean, however it has a considerable number of functionalities that at first made me take some time to fully understand how to link interdependent activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TeamGantt?

TeamGantt is one of the most powerful tools that helps display workflow diagrams in an organized, uncluttered manner that is easy to understand for all parties of the project. I loved the ease of setting up the WBS and the ease of creating sublevels under each section. Adding activities and linking them according to relationships is easy. The best thing about TeamGantt is the presentation style, the ease of coordinating the schedule, and the expressive color bars that highlight the importance of the priority of activities and the level of progress in them. It is wonderful that more than one member can participate in preparing timetables as well as updating them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are no drawbacks, but the capabilities of TeamGantt must be increased so that we can measure the overall completion rates and compare them to what was planned, as well as so that we can monitor the various resources in the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?

(Original )Information
What do you like best about TeamGantt?

TeamGantt is a fantastic, free-of-charge GANTT Chart maker. Using TeamGantt, I have been able to create GANTT Charts for small and large-scale projects, allowing for prospective tasks to be noted, as well as the proposed time by which they should be completed.

The interface is very easy to navigate, and the GANTT charts are visually appealing, and easy-to-follow. TeamGantt has come in very handy when working on large audio projects as a teaching assistant and within my further studies. Those projects of which have had long timescales; allowing me to form a visual representation of the project and the required tasks to be completed, and the date by which they should be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamGantt?

As an individual using TeamGantt to manage my projects, schedules and timelines, there are restrictions to the number of projects for which a GANTT chart can be made unless a subscription is purchased. These subscriptions of which seem more orientated towards businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TeamGantt solving and how is that benefiting you?

TeamGantt makes it incredibly easy to visualise the timescale of my projects, and to easily pin-point tasks that need to be completed. This is incredibly handy, as it keeps me productive, and allows me to keep up with deadlines without falling behind. I very much like that I can colour-code each of my tasks, making the GANTT Chart more organised and visually appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Aaron R of TeamGantt

Thank you for the fantastic review! We're glad to hear TeamGantt is helping manage your large audio projects.

I can see how the licensing options might be restrictive for individuals. I'll pass along that feedback to our product/licensing team. Thanks again!
