Intacct is extremely versatile. It can be customized to fit almost any type of organization. I love the slice and dice functionality of Intacct. My new favorite tool is Collaborate. Keep up the good work, Intacct! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a brand new user to Intacct (about 11 months to date). Being so new we are still learning the system and process of the cloud-based tool. Currently the bank reconciliation & month-end process is giving us a heartburn. I hope overtime Intacct can perfect this functionality and make it more efficient. From an FP&A (financial planning & analysis) capacity, I have been using Intacct for a few years as my company implemented it after conducting a few tack on acquisitions. Transitioning off of Quickbooks and onto Intacct has streamlined Financial Reporting. The interface is intuitive, and it is easy to build customized reports and extract the information needed. I use Intacct virtually everyday and the ability to plug in additional tools such as Velixo to automate our monthly financial reporting within Excel has also streamlined and automated manual tasks to allow more time for analysis. My only suggestion for a product enhancement would be to make columns sortable when drilling down into the GL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage Intacct offers a wide range of features, but I use the Custom Report Builder almost daily. It’s an incredibly powerful tool that makes it easy to implement new ways of reviewing financials. The interface is extremely user-friendly, and there’s a wealth of resources available if you need assistance—almost every feature includes a help button or guide. Implementation is generally straightforward and can be relatively simple, depending on the size and complexity of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration can be a bit challenging due to the learning curve involved. While this can be seen as a drawback, it's also a positive aspect—it pushes users to truly master the software. That said, there is room for trial and error, and mistakes are common along the way as you become more familiar with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alright, buckle up, because Sage Intacct absolutely deserves this glowing review!
From the get-go, this cloud accounting software has been a game-changer for our business. We were drowning in spreadsheets and outdated systems, and Intacct swooped in like a superhero with a cape made of efficiency.
The real-time visibility it offers is incredible. We can now see exactly where we stand financially, drilling down into the details with ease. No more waiting for month-end reports that feel like ancient history! The customizable dashboards are fantastic – we've tailored them to show us the key metrics that matter most, making informed decisions a breeze.
What really sets Intacct apart is its robustness and scalability. As we've grown, it's grown with us, handling increasing complexity without a hiccup. The multi-dimensional reporting is a lifesaver, allowing us to analyze our data in ways we never thought possible. Seriously, slicing and dicing financial information has become… dare I say… enjoyable?
And let's talk integrations. Intacct plays nicely with so many other crucial business systems. This seamless connectivity has streamlined our workflows and eliminated so much manual data entry. It's like all our essential tools are finally speaking the same language.
Finally, the support team is top-notch. Whenever we've had a question (and let's be honest, with any new system there are always a few!), they've been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. It feels like they're true partners in our success.
Honestly, if you're looking for a powerful, flexible, and future-proof accounting solution, look no further than Sage Intacct. It's not just software; it's a strategic asset that has significantly improved our financial operations. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Okay, so while I'm a big fan, no system is perfect, right? If I had to nitpick something someone could dislike about Sage Intacct, it might be the initial learning curve and implementation.
Because it's such a robust and feature-rich platform, getting everything set up exactly how you want it and training your team can take a bit more time and effort upfront compared to simpler, less comprehensive solutions. It's not necessarily difficult, but it does require a commitment to the process. If a business is looking for something incredibly basic right out of the box with minimal setup, the depth of Intacct might feel a little overwhelming initially. I have no complaints about Sage Intacct. Its a great option for companies looking for a cloud based solution that can mange different parts of their business in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have worked in different ERP platforms, among those Sage is found to be more user friendly. Every options are available on screen. We need not have to use any transaction codes. Its simple to use and almost every modules are available in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage intaact has some defects too. I noticed a defect that while updating the approval flow and if we have any changes required to be made after the initial set up, the user has to be given top level access and weare unable to restrcit the user by entity. Also some reports are not generated as required. Also when we are extractinf balancesheet, p/l reports its taking too much time to be downloaded. Lack of Operations. Sage Intacct could be great as Financial suite but it lacks multiple areas for Operation based companies or manufacturing companies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The Part I feel the best is it is easy to use and has various features a company requests for accounting.
2. The Integration from different websites such as Bill.com, and RAMP provides an easy connection and quick Sync ability.
3. Easy Implementation software for any kind of business.
4. Its auto logout feature which is best for security purpose.
5. The last one is the beta Interface which provides a filter feature in the top column which is very handy while reconciliation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. One area that I feel could be improved in Sage Intacct is the custom reporting functionality. Specifically, reports such as Bill Payments cannot be generated at the top level. For companies with more than five entities, this becomes a significant challenge during reporting.
2. Increasing the time frame for the auto logout feature will quick helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intacct is a huge upgrade for our company. It works seamlessly with our other software. The reports are accurate and easy to access. The reports are also customizable to meet our needs. I am able to favorite reports for quicker access. Almost all settings and setup options are adjustable so I can set my pages and reports up how I want. I have not experienced any lagging or issues with speed of loading pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intacct looks a bit dated. I appreciate its simplicity, but it is visually underwhelming. I have been told a few times by Intacct support that certain report customizations require additional payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I work for a Family Office and Sage Intacct has saved so much time just being able to switch between all of the entities I work in on a daily basis. The reporting has also saved so much time in running consolidated financials withing certain groupings that I had to do manually before. As we have many entities that have different approvals for invoices, Intacct has streamlined the process so invoices aren't slipping through the cracks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately Sage Intacct still hasn't made it to the 21st century by only allowing checking, savings and credit cards accounts for cash management. There are Muni accounts, brokerage accounts, etc. This has been a real disappointment as I had to set them in their forced module and it's really lacking on the reporting as a result. Finally, it is just amazing that Sage hasn't brokered agreements to work with all the major banks at least here in the United States. This has been a real disappointment as I was looking forward to making our monthly reconciliations go much faster and smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dimension structure allows for flexibility in reporting & is helpful to not have to set up segmented accounts ahead of time
Collaborate function to store communication regarding a transaction in the system is awesome!
Love the ability to go back to correct coding on a posted transaction rather than have to do an adjusting journal entry
Ability to add attachments to each transaction is so helpful & has been a huge improvement for us.
Transaction allocations are very helpful.
Statistical accounts are great!
Ease of creating custom views and customizing reports.
Love how customizable the system is - we created a whole "app" to help streamline a billing process.
Ease of imports Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fixed Assets module is clunky.
Want an allocate option on credit cards.
Definite learning curve on reporting & account groups - but give a lot of options & flexibility.
Should have a standard part of system to handle safe pay/positive pay with banks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
