From an FP&A (financial planning & analysis) capacity, I have been using Intacct for a few years as my company implemented it after conducting a few tack on acquisitions. Transitioning off of Quickbooks and onto Intacct has streamlined Financial Reporting. The interface is intuitive, and it is easy to build customized reports and extract the information needed. I use Intacct virtually everyday and the ability to plug in additional tools such as Velixo to automate our monthly financial reporting within Excel has also streamlined and automated manual tasks to allow more time for analysis. Sage Intacct offers a wide range of features, but I use the Custom Report Builder almost daily. It’s an incredibly powerful tool that makes it easy to implement new ways of reviewing financials. The interface is extremely user-friendly, and there’s a wealth of resources available if you need assistance—almost every feature includes a help button or guide. Okay, so while I'm a big fan, no system is perfect, right? If I had to nitpick something someone could dislike about Sage Intacct, it might be the initial learning curve and implementation.
Because it's such a robust and feature-rich platform, getting everything set up exactly how you want it and training your team can take a bit more time and effort upfront compared to simpler, less comprehensive solutions. It's not necessarily difficult, but it does require a commitment to the process. If a business is looking for something incredibly basic right out of the box with minimal setup, the depth of Intacct might feel a little overwhelming initially. I have worked in different ERP platforms, among those Sage is found to be more user friendly. Every options are available on screen.We need not have to use any transaction codes.Its simple to use and almost every modules are available in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage intaact has some defects too. I noticed a defect that while updating the approval flow and if we have any changes required to be made after the initial set up, the user has to be given top level access and weare unable to restrcit the user by entity.Also some reports are not generated as required.Also when we are extractinf balancesheet, p/l reports its taking too much time to be downloaded. Lack of Operations. Sage Intacct could be great as Financial suite but it lacks multiple areas for Operation based companies or manufacturing companies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The Part I feel the best is it is easy to use and has various features a company requests for accounting.
2. The Integration from different websites such as Bill.com, and RAMP provides an easy connection and quick Sync ability.
3. Easy Implementation software for any kind of business.
4. Its auto logout feature which is best for security purpose.

1. One area that I feel could be improved in Sage Intacct is the custom reporting functionality. Specifically, reports such as Bill Payments cannot be generated at the top level. For companies with more than five entities, this becomes a significant challenge during reporting.

Intacct is a huge upgrade for our company. It works seamlessly with our other software. The reports are accurate and easy to access. The reports are also customizable to meet our needs. I am able to favorite reports for quicker access. Almost all settings and setup options are adjustable so I can set my pages and reports up how I want. Intacct looks a bit dated. I appreciate its simplicity, but it is visually underwhelming. I have been told a few times by Intacct support that certain report customizations require additional payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dimension structure allows for flexibility in reporting & is helpful to not have to set up segmented accounts ahead of time
Collaborate function to store communication regarding a transaction in the system is awesome!
Love the ability to go back to correct coding on a posted transaction rather than have to do an adjusting journal entry
Ability to add attachments to each transaction is so helpful & has been a huge improvement for us.
Transaction allocations are very helpful.
Statistical accounts are great!
Ease of creating custom views and customizing reports.
Love how customizable the system is - we created a whole "app" to help streamline a billing process.

I love that I can do multiple things for one invoice in one system. I have to use Intacct every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how long it initially takes to get to the needed pages. Having to open multiple tabs makes searching easier and cuts down on the amount of time I spend waiting for the page to load. It would be easier for me if everything I needed to do with one invoice could be done from the same page. I frequently have to refund invoices, and this can't be done from Intacct. I have to go to Intacct to find the information and take it to Braintree (both EFT and CC versions). There's about a week's waiting period for everything to process and sync; then I have to use Intacct to verse on one page and reprocess on another. It isn't very easy to learn at first either. Since there are so many back and forth steps, a lot of manual fixes, one thing at a time, it takes a lot of patience and asking questions. The reporting feature helps me on a daily basis to make key descisions on financials. I love how with one click I can get details of transactions happening in real time or even do an aging report and find out where something went ary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Sage on a daily basis and I need it to be quick and accurate. this was one of my key issues I was complaining baout my old system. Implementation took a bit and customizations, but it was well worth the wait. Customer service was a key help to all things timeline related.
