What do you like best about Avora?

You can’t optimize your business for maximum growth if you don’t know what’s helping (or hurting) your bottom line. As someone who really likes to nerd out on the numbers, I really like how you can subscribe to a specific metric that matters most to you and receive instant alerts when unusual things are happening that might be typically overlooked. What do you dislike about Avora?

Although the interface is very clean and easy to navigate, there is a slight learning curve to understand all of the various tools and options available to you. This is not a bad thing however, as the level of detail here can really allow you to dive deep into your metrics once you understand everything the software has to offer. If you want to have all of the information you need to make better business decisions, you need to at least give Avora a try. Every insight you have available to you is an edge you have over the competition, and in an increasingly competitive environment, this software is a secret weapon to those looking for that edge. What problems is Avora solving and how is that benefiting you?

Conversions are the lifeblood of any business. With Avora, when my conversion rates fall outside of the trending norm, I receive an alert and instantly jump into the app where I can conveniently view all of the information I need to determine exactly why my rates have fallen. I can then tweak, A/B test, and reevaluate the results of all changes to optimize my conversions and not only get them back to their normal range, but drive a noticeable increase as a result. What do you like best about Avora?

What do you like best about Avora?

Within 24 hours Avora had answered clear questions about why our conversions had increased and how we could improve it. It found anomalies within the data on the first run and while some of these were known, there were many unknowns in there with the reasons generated by root cause.

It is our go to tool now to understand where we need to put our efforts.

The support crew helped us quickly get up and running.

The Snowflake setup took minutes

Would be great if we could assign tasks as a to do list.

What problems is Avora solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to cut time analysing data in our Snowflake data warehouse but also have Avora monitor our applications for us to find customer experience issues and alert quickly so that we fix them before they become bigger problems. We found that Avora was picking up on sign up problems, payment/billing issues that we were not aware of.

We increased our conversion rate 7% after 2 weeks and seen our NPS score increase 5 points.

What problems is Avora solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it to monitor our marketing spend/campaigns and user experience on our ecommerce website.

Marketing – It ensures our marketing spend remains on track and conversions are optimal.

Customer experience – It monitors all aspects, I.e. sign ups, shipments, transactions and payments by all factors such as territories, devices and will alert us quickly as to any problems we need to be aware of. For example, it detected very early a sign-up issue in France on mobile allowing us to resolve it before it became a bigger problem.

Weekly reporting – We use it to understand change in performance across the business.

What do you like best about Avora?

That the platform appeared to be all in one for accessing, transforming, and visualizing data. While it technically had a lot of potential, it was all unrealized due to numerous issues. Avora made significant efforts to address the issues at hand, but in the end, the opportunity cost of trying to work through and solve with them didn't make sense vs. moving to a partner better suited to our needs in Advertising. What do you dislike about Avora?

Onboarding. Data Accuracy. Speed. Platform UX. Labeling abilities.

1. Onboarding was an absolute nightmare. Everything we asked for when we started AVORA said "Sure, thats easy". Fast forward 9 months and we still haven't gotten the tool into teams hands, because the team they assigned to onboarding had no idea what they were doing. It took the CEO getting involved and them assigning their good analyst to the account in order to properly set up what we needed. The worst part was that we lost 9 months because they didn't assign the right person to our account.

2. Data accuracy. They struggled with this during the majority of the tenure we worked with them. Made the product functionally useless when you have to triple check every data point you get from it. They say this is due to limitations of outside data sources, but competitors have been able to solve the issues they ran into. Issues they insist are unsolvable.

3. Very very slow, difficult to navigate UX. Once we had all our data in here this thing crawled and crashed often.

4. No exports to data studio or key platforms, so you're stuck using the slow, half-working interface.

Access and aggregation of data, labeling of data, visualization of data were all the problems we targeted.

What do you like best about Avora?

I love the sense of Self-serve within Avora. After setting up our database connection, we could get the data modelled the way we want it and easily available to create our own metrics from it. We are able to customise dashboards for each of our clients. We greatly appreciated Avora’s flexibility that allowed us to get some product features implemented within the application and that all our requests have been promptly dealt with. I think the main benefit is that we can trust our data. Because we don’t have to manually generate reports and the process is automated there are much less chances of errors occuring.

What do you like best about Avora?

The most helpful thing about Avora is the robust, reliable infrastructure they provide for the BI. With a smoothly and maintained database as the foundation, all further analysis and reporting as an analyst is a breeze. In addition, the analyst-defined business KPI's are easily monitored and disseminated to business users, providing autonomy and trust in the data.

With a streamlined reporting suite across Marketing, Product, Risk and Finance developed, giving hourly updates to the relevant stakeholders, myself and the BI team could focus on deep analysis and insight tasks more. One of the great things about Avora is that it uses technology like Snowflake which is so scalable and powerful that we can run our processes in minutes rather than the whole day that used to take us. What do you like best about Avora?

The flexibility of the tool and the team at Avora has been the best asset for us. We explored various automation tools to help with an industry-wide issue, and chose to work with Avora due to their expertise and ability to customize.

We had a very specific use case needing to do regular updates in our billing platform based on 1st and 3rd party data. These updates can be automated thanks to RPA softwares like Dexi or UIPath. Our manual process moved to an automated one and Avora was very receptive on fine tuning the business logic all along the on-boarding stage. The fact that we could mutualise and connect the data from different systems in Avora as part of this process also opened us to new perspectives in terms of reporting. The self-serve features made it easy for us to get access to shape and get access to our KPIs in an instant.

We also appreciated the flexibility of the developers and customer success team. They happily agreed to be flexible to our workflows. We had 2x weekly meetings at first, then weekly check-ins. I found their weekly summaries and meetings very efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Avora?

The Campaign Manager connector can be unstable as based on DCM reports API which are sometimes failing. Identifying what data is inaccurate with so many connectors will always be a risk. Having open communication and a reliable ticketing system with Avora helps us understand and resolve issues in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Avora solving and how is that benefiting you?

Efficiency. We have a team of about 16 people who had to do days of manual order entry that was tied to revenue. We used to do our media billing manually including collecting data from our different sources, calculating what needs to be billed and updating each line individually in our billing system. We would then have to manually input that data from various data sources into excel to be sent to clients. This process used to take the entire team up to ten business days to complete. In the past few months, we have completed this work in as little as three business days. +

We are also very excited with the use of the ML features. Anomaly detection can help us to identify whenever first party platforms are under or over performing and root cause analysis will point us in the right direction to explain why it happened. The forecasting function is also useful to validate our initial predictions on revenue and establish a strategy based on it.

Finally, we are also getting more insights on the performance of our campaign and could easily create ourselves reports in Avora to see if these advertising campaigns reached their goals.We can also follow the pacing of current campaigns to see where we need to focus to reach our targets. What do you like best about Avora?

Most BI platforms focus on pleasing either business customers (pretty interfaces, heavy investment in sales and marketing, targeting business users with messages that imply they can function without Technology teams) or Technology (access to complex functions, data processes, integrations, not necessarily 'business friendly'). Avora walks this line and is a tool that allows for heavy technical users to get their hands dirty, while at the same time being easy to use for business teams to create dashboards and identify insights. What do you dislike about Avora?

We have yet to make use of any of the ML modules, but that might just be because our data doesn't lend itself easily to use cases. I also wish we had more control of the colors of graphs. All line graphs start with a blue line, so if you have multiple cards with a single line, the lines will all be blue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Avora?

Very versatile product with a wide range of connectors available. When connectors are not available Avora will seek workarounds and even consider developing a new solution

Centralised data sources and metric definitions have helped us to achieve better data governance which leads to more reliable insights

Dashboard load and filter application speed can sometimes be slow
