I have to say, it's an impressive tool that has transformed the way we handle data and make business decisions. DOMO stands out with its user-friendly interface and intuitive design. The dashboard has customization options allowing us to tailor the visualizations to meet our specific needs and preferences. We use these custom options a ton in my organization, really diving down to a granular level with the data.
DOMO's ability to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of data sources. Whether it’s pulling data from cloud-based apps, spreadsheets, or other databases. This integration capability has streamlined our data management processes. The real-time data updates are excellent as well. We get immediate insights and can make informed decisions on the fly. The collaboration features are also top-notch, allowing our team members to share insights and work together.
It’s user-centric, highly integrative, and supports real-time collaboration, making it an invaluable asset for any organization looking to leverage their data effectively. Our entire team can monitor real time results and with the API’s that DOMO has, such as an ability to sync with Redshift, it makes our data source very robust.
Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there is really nothing that I dislike about this program. I do wish the app was more user friendly, but it is tough to put that much data and information in such a small screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For my team: having all our tools in one platform has been revolutionary. From Data ingestion, transformation, visualization, jupyter notebooks, projects & notes for project management, buzz for chatting, and so much more! Our team has seen tremendous growth and engagement with our users that we never saw in Tableau, PowerBI, or DataIku. Domo is a fantastic platform with so many different uses.
As an added bonus, the support and customer service we receive from Domo is top-tier and I trust them to see my issues as important and they actually will get work done quickly to resolve the issues, unlike when I've issues with other major platforms.
My team lives inside of Domo and we use it every day. It's easy to teach out users how to view and interact with the data and buy-in we've got around our organization has been great.
Pricing is fair and we use the consumption based model - I never feel like the company is trying to nickle and dime us and I think that we definitely get our money's worth from it.
Overall fantastic tool and I would recommend to anyone. 10/10 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a MySQL 5.0 based platform so some of the features in it don't work as well as you'd expect or want them to. I don't use the SQL Data Transforms or Views very much because they're slow (SQL Data Transforms) and the Views usefulness is extremely limited. To balance that out, the Magic ETL has incorporated new SQL tiles, which make up all the deficit of not having a strict SQL interface and is exceedingly quick to run. Domo is a robust and highly scalable platform that offers a lot of flexibility to meet our business needs. It performs reliably and provides out-of-the-box integrations with many data services. Domo is very good at continually expanding its feature set and is consistently making new releases. It has been a pleasure using their platform over the last 7 years. I have always sung Domo's praises, however about 2 months before our next renewal, we were notified that next year's price was going to be an unimaginable 1120% more than our last renewal, and in 3 years they said it will be 2240% higher than our last renewal price. This is with the same number of users, and actually a decrease in consumption compared to last year's renewal due to import optimizations we have made. This sudden and substantial pricing increase, communicated only ~2 months prior to our contract expiration, is forcing us to rush a migration over to a different platform. It is deeply disappointing to see them treat a client of 7 years like this, and it unfortunately eroded our trust with them as a company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've found Domo to be an extremely effective tool for building dashboards from our Jira instances. Its native Jira connector makes it easy to pull in data across multiple projects and instances, while Magic ETL allows us to clean, transform, and normalize complex issue data—no heavy SQL required. This has enabled us to create dashboards tailored for engineering teams, QA, and leadership, providing visibility into sprint progress, backlog trends, and SLA performance in real time.
Domo’s flexibility and ease of use have allowed both technical and non-technical users to derive insights quickly. Automated refreshes, custom alerts, and role-based sharing have improved cross-team collaboration and reduced manual reporting overhead. As our data needs grow, Domo continues to scale well and has become a key part of our reporting and project tracking workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Domo has been a powerful tool for building dashboards from our Jira instances. While some customization does require a bit of engineering effort—especially when working with complex JQL queries or transforming nested issue data—the platform is intuitive overall. Its Magic ETL and native Jira connector make it easy to shape and visualize data, and once set up, dashboards provide real-time insights across engineering, QA, and leadership with minimal maintenance. - Domo actually tries to apply feedback given in the community forum to updates/changes
- The Knowledge Base is a great resource for new users & training materials
- Magic ETL makes it easy to build dataflows with minimal SQL knowledge & has excellent features for denoting why dataflow features are in place in case anyone but the original user needs to revise/edit the dataflow
- The automated reporting feature is a great tool to encourage adoption Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Updates/changes & their impact on existing dataflows are not well communicated, making the platform prone to "glitches"
- Customization of dashboard layout & filter options is not the best pairing for efficient use of space & end-user friendliness
- Customer support is relatively slow (but they do tend to positively resolve issues) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not sure I like this about it as I come from a strong SQL database background, but for normal business users, tooling with their data and making reports becomes very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So this is the other side of the coin compared to what I just said. In our small ish company with about 200 employees, we have over 11,000 cards (reports) and thousands of calculated fields (beast modes). The ease of use for business users has somewhat led to a proliferation of reports, many of which are never seen, but remain, making it somewhat tough to know what you can delete later on. The calculated fields/beast modes also can be done differently depending on what each user takes into account, so it's important to keep those straight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our leadership team relies on Domo for accurate visiblity into the business. With the customization and ease of use that Domo provides, we are able to accomplish that. The simplicity of connecting databases is also a huge bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In some situations, a beast mode is required to filter out rows of data- specifically rows that don't have data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really appreciate how user-friendly DOMO is—it makes creating graphs and tracking sales super easy. Plus, its real-time data processing helps me stay on top of our sales orders and budget without any delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish DOMO had more customization options for dashboards and reports and better beast mode calculations—sometimes it feels a bit limited. Also, it can be slow when handling large data sets, which can be frustrating when I need quick insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Domo is super easy to use. It is a one stop solution to manage all your data, clean data using ETLs and create visualizations. Their new app feature is my favorite it makes navigating through cards so much easy and generate valuable insights from the data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All the new features such as apps and AI capabilities are not completely developed yet but I am sure these will also get better with time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think domo is very easy to use. I think that Domo has created an amazing community with the Dojo and that helps make it easier to find an answer to questions that are tougher to answer. We frequently use Domo and it makes a lot of the reporting we do much easier. The ability to automate has made our work processes much quicker and very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer support. It is really hard to actually get someone from Domo on a call to help answer questions. There is somewhat limited capabilities in their card displays. On multiple occasions we have had to disinclude data from a visualization becasue there was too much data and all of it wouldn't display. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
