What do you like best about Wrike?

I really like how Wrike helps our team stay aligned across multiple projects and deadlines. The customizable dashboards and task views make it easy to see who’s working on what, and the built-in collaboration tools (like comments and file sharing) reduce the need for endless email threads. It’s also super helpful that we can track time and set up workflows that match how our team actually works - less jumping between tools, more getting things done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Having used multiple project management softwares, I love the task/timesheet view for a quick glance of what I have due and what I must record time to. It incredibly simple and easy to navigate.

Internal comms across teams is also easy through tagging as well as quickly responding if Outlook is integrated into the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

While can be controlled via settings, you can quickly get overwhelmed in notifications. Depending on setup and size of org, you might login and have a lot of notifications to navigate making comms/tasks get lost.

Wrike can be quickly over-managed, meaning orgs with a larger volume of tasks may over engineer - based on features - task building. This may create issues for producers on what's due and when.

Must have a devoted admin with the time and resources to build and on-board team/org. Can get complex very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! It’s wonderful to hear that Wrike’s task and timesheet views are making it easier for you to manage your workload and track time efficiently. We’re also glad that features like tagging and Outlook integration are helping your team communicate more smoothly.

You’ve raised some really important points about notifications and the potential for complexity, especially in larger organizations. Here are a few tips that might help:

Managing Notifications: You can customize your notification settings in Wrike to reduce the noise and only get alerts for what matters most to you. If you need guidance, we have step-by-step resources or can walk you through the process.

Simplifying Task Structures: For teams that might be over-engineering their workflows, consider starting with a basic setup and gradually adding features as needed. Sometimes, less is more!

If you’d like, I can share specific guides or connect you with our support resources to address any of these challenges directly. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re here to help you get the most out of Wrike. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support your agency’s success!

What do you like best about Wrike?

What I appreciate most about using Wrike for logging my daily tasks is the clarity and visibility it provides. It's great to have a central place where I can easily document what I've accomplished, and for our manager to have seamless access to that information. This transparency really streamlines communication and ensures everyone is on the same page regarding progress and workload. Plus, the way Wrike organizes tasks within projects makes it easy to see how my individual contributions fit into the bigger picture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Honestly, the biggest frustration I have with Wrike is its speed. There are times when it feels quite sluggish, and the loading times can be a bit disruptive to my workflow, especially when I'm trying to quickly log my tasks for the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, Wrike primarily solves the problem of disorganized task updates and a lack of clear visibility into what everyone on the team is doing. Before using Wrike, providing daily updates might have involved scattered emails or verbal reports, which could easily get lost or be difficult for our manager to track and reference later.

The benefit of Wrike in this context is that it provides a centralized and structured platform for logging my daily tasks. 1 This makes it incredibly easy for my manager to see exactly what I've worked on, understand my progress, and have a clear overview of the team's activities. This transparency fosters better communication, helps identify any potential roadblocks early on, and ensures everyone is aligned on our goals and individual contributions. It also saves me time because I have a dedicated place to record my work, rather than trying to piece together updates through other less efficient methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback and insights! We’re glad to hear that Wrike’s centralized platform has made it easier for you to log daily tasks, provide clear updates, and give your manager real-time visibility into your progress. It’s great to know that this transparency is helping your team stay aligned, streamline communication, and quickly identify any potential roadblocks.

We appreciate your honesty about the platform’s speed. We understand how important it is for Wrike to be responsive, especially when you’re logging tasks throughout a busy day. Our team is continuously working to improve performance and reduce loading times. If you notice specific patterns—such as certain times of day or actions that seem to trigger slowdowns—please let us know, as this information can help us address the issue more effectively.

If you’d like, we can also share some tips for optimizing your workspace or connect you with our support team to look into your account’s performance. I’ve tried my fair share of project management platforms, and Wrike strikes the best balance between structure and flexibility. It’s powerful without being overwhelming. The real-time updates, dashboards, and task dependencies have helped me stay on top of projects. Also, the integrations actually work, which hasn’t always been the case with other tools I’ve used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The learning curve is definitely there. It took me a couple of weeks to feel confident using it without second-guessing myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Wrike primarily to manage and organize our copywriting projects. It helps me keep track of what’s in the pipeline, what’s in review, and what’s ready to go. Since I’m also the team lead, I use it to assign tasks, oversee timelines, and make sure everyone’s aligned on priorities. It’s been super helpful for tracking feedback loops and keeping things moving without clogging up our inboxes. It gives me a bird’s-eye view without making me micromanage. Wrike has significantly helped us overcome the long-standing challenge of siloed work and poor cross-team collaboration. In the past, our teams struggled with fragmented communication - tasks were scattered across emails, chat threads, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools. What do you like best about Wrike?

I appreciate how Wrike has consistently evolved over my 6 years using it across two different companies. They clearly listen to user feedback - adding useful enhancements while removing redundant features. The platform is intuitive once you get the hang of it, and the integration capabilities with other tools like Bynder make it fit well within our broader workflow ecosystem. Support is great! Aybuke and Lisa are always available to meet and are super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The learning curve can be steep at first. It takes time to get comfortable with all the features and functionality. Finding certain features, like "Request Forms," isn't always intuitive. The permission structure is sometimes frustrating - for example, users need admin access just to create forms, which creates unnecessary bottlenecks when team members need to quickly set up new workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike played a key role in managing our intricate marketing campaigns at Scene+. My role as Marketing Operations Manager involves managing campaigns with diverse components including email marketing and SMS campaigns while working with social media content and collaborating across departments like Data Analytics.

Without Wrike we faced endless spreadsheets and constant missed deadlines while tracking multiple components across different teams. Our centralized platform enables team members to monitor their tasks and deadlines alongside the full campaign progress. My Wrike-created forms and blueprints have standardized our procedures which improves efficiency in campaign launches while decreasing the need for multiple email exchanges.

The visibility our team receives from using Wrike has completely transformed our operations. Team members gain real-time access to updated data when Data Analytics requests metrics or when campaign strategies require immediate changes. Our marketing operations have become more agile while confusion levels have decreased. We've refined our workflows to match our specific needs through team feedback collection and direct collaboration with Wrike support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed reflection on your Wrike journey! We deeply appreciate your recognition of our commitment to listening to user feedback—it’s a core part of how we continue improving. I’m also glad to hear that Aybuke and Lisa have been supportive partners in your success.

We completely understand that the learning curve and some permission settings can feel challenging, and your candid feedback on those areas is invaluable. It helps us prioritize where to simplify and enhance the user experience.

Your story about moving away from endless spreadsheets to a centralized, transparent platform really highlights the power of Wrike to transform teamwork and drive real results. It’s rewarding to know Wrike is enabling your team to be more agile, reduce confusion, and launch campaigns more efficiently—exactly what we aim for.

Thank you again for being such a dedicated Wrike user and for sharing your journey. We’re excited to continue growing with you and supporting your evolving needs every step of the way!
