What do you like best about Workfront?

I have implemented Workfront several times and this is what I continue to find value in: The customization around building custom data, custom forms, custom reports/dashboards, layout templates, etc means that you have a lot of control with how your users interact with the system. Also, their development team listens to customers and implements new features accordingly. If you are exhausted from jumping from one tool to another, Workfront is a great investment for medium to large organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

From my experience, Workfront sells itself as a solution to a problem that it does not solve: Aligning small teams with the organization. In other words, if this is supposed to be the selling point for why a small team should ditch their current favorite small team tool (trello, asana, basecamp, jira, etc) I don't think WF ever pays off for these small teams like their old tool did. to the small team inside a large organization, It ends up feeling more like meeting organizational policy compliance rather than more efficient collaboration. Recommendations to others considering Workfront:

If your a startup, either use WF for everything or not at all, and hire a Web developer part-time to assist with integrations.

If you are a medium to large organization and are bought into Salesforce, Workday, and other Saas solutions, this is a no brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workfront?

Workfront is an all in one tool for project management. It has tools for project planning, document management, reporting, forecasting, resource planning, timesheet logging, and custom dashboards. You can create templates for projects, track work requests, approve documents, and communicate with the project team effortlessly. Unlike Microsoft Project, you can do everything in the one software and don't need to link and sync numerous other small bits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workfront?

Workfront is great for EITHER project management OR project finance tracking. When you try to make it do both, it really struggles. If you take steps to make the finances accurate, you mess up the project plan structure. If your focus is project planning, the finances need custom workarounds to work and it's frustrating. Also the gantt view is terrible, the tasks are scrunched up. The columns take too much space. And the timeline doe not always line up with the task. Also there is no way to setup to get notification when a project, task, or issue goes over budget and you have to actively be tracking the project to notice. It's solving the problem of managing all company project details in one tool. The workers use it to get assigned work and log time. The sales team uses it to manage sales opportunities. The project management team uses it to track finances, resourcing and timeline. The business team uses it for strategic planning from finance and status reports and dashboards. What do you like best about Workfront?

I discovered Workfront a while ago, and I didn't know such a platform existed. It is definitely the reference in the Marketing field in terms of software and services. There is no need to look further; you have everything you need!! My team and I have plans to use it even more to help with the project management tool research! What do you dislike about Workfront?

For now, I haven't come up with anything I dislike! I would say the only thing is probably that there is so many choices that I didn't have the time to look at all of it, I can't wait to do so! With Workfront we were able to find the best platform that suits our need and allow us to work more efficiently as a team! Adobe Workfront is one of the best tools I have come across to manage my work, I can monitor growth in real time and this software has helped me a lot in tracking each phase of my project and helped in effectively coordinating with my team members.

Very easy UI, very navigatable. There is a lot of support for the app. Emailing the customer success rep at Workfront is no issue at all. I really like how organized it is and seems well positioned for my role.

What I like best about Workfront is how it keeps large, fast-moving projects organized—especially when working with a major client like Anheuser-Busch. With so many moving parts, working with different teams such as analytics, investment, strategy etc. , and tight deadlines, having everything from tasks to approvals in one place is a game-changer. What I don’t love about Workfront is that it can feel a little overwhelming, especially when someone’s just getting started. My project is huge and with different teams, and people with different skills. There are a ton of features and ways to customize things, which is great—but it also means there’s a bit of a learning curve. The layout isn’t always the most straightforward either, and sometimes it takes longer than it should to find what you need. What do you like best about Workfront?

The one thing I like best about Workfront is that it is a great project management and work collaboration platform. I have been using it for several years now at my current company and I must say it has certainly helped me keep track of all my tasks and projects. At the start of each workday, I like to view the tasks that have deadlines approaching and prioritize my work accordingly. Moreover, it ensures that everyone is accountable for their work and if there are any delays or bottlenecks, it is very easy to identify those with clear project layouts. What do you dislike about Workfront?

One thing I don't like about Workfront is that even if a task is assigned to me, I don't receive any notifications or updates if there are other team members commenting on it, unless I am explicitly tagged. Oftentimes, this may cause delays as there might be other team members discussing the predecessor or succeeding task but because they either forgot to tag me or the comments aren't really for me but are related to my task, I don't find out about it until I check on the task myself and view those comments there. I use Workfront as a project and task management platform. Since I am part of the Digital Advertising team where I work cross-functionally with several other teams on multiple projects at the same time, it often gets chaotic and leveraging a tool like Workfront can be extremely helpful. Without such a tool, it would be very challenging to keep a track of the status of all my projects and the tasks assigned to me within those projects. Moreover, collaboration with multiple colleagues across different teams would be very difficult without visibility into the preceding or succeeding tasks to know where we currently stand with respect to each of our projects and if there are any hold-offs at any stage. What do you like best about Workfront?

Firstly, The project management tools are intuitive, allowing teams to break down complex tasks into manageable chunks and track progress easily. On the other hand workfront offers a lot of features, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially foe new users. The interface might take some time to get used to. In addititon, setting up the system and customizing it according to team's requirement can take little time.
