What do you like best about Lyssna?

I have had a very positive experience building surveys and usability tests within Lyssna on a regular basis. It's very user friendly, the support staff is incredibly responsive and helpful, and I feel that this team cares about their users and improving the product. The options suit my needs well and there are new features coming out that make my life even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

There are some limitations with the survey builder. I think it could be made more flexible for different use-cases, and there could be more customization with regard to how survey respondents navigate through the survey (maybe a back button, or multiple Qs on one page). I think there are some quality of life improvements, and some more mechanisms for not losing data when building a survey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lyssna gives us a way to collect feedback from customers in a quick and easy way, and allows us to identify and address usability problems by allowing respondents to explore our prototypes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

I've been doing CRO for over 15 years and have relied on Lyssna (formerly UsabilityHub) to back up my recommendations and get client buy-in on test ideas. I find it more powerful to SHOW them that 75% of users don't know what their value prop is, for example, rather than merely telling that to them, myself. I also use it to uncover problems that I didn't initially think of.

I appreciate that the feedback is super quick and affordable. And I like the variery of tests/polls I can run.

In recent years, they added more filters, which I like, such as hobbies, technology use, financial products, etc to better target the right respondents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

I sometimes feel like the repondents don't match the criteria I requested. It makes me wonder what type of screening or verification there is to ensure that users truly fit the demographics they claim to. Also, there are times that I get snarky responses, which aren't worth paying for. So I'd like Lyssna to invest in improving -- and checking in on -- the quality of their panel, which I use exclusively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use it for quick user research on webpages to inform hypotheses for A/B testing. It's a great tool to get client buy-in on my recommendations. I find that clients don't push back nearly as much when I have this qualitative data to back up my ideas! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

I love the flexibility it gives me to create any type of usability test I want. One restriction when doing unmoderated tests is always how confining it is to just show the prototype then ask proceeding questions. Lyssna allows you to combine prototype tests, preference tests, survey questions and more all in one. Saves soooo much of me and my team's time and budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

Not so much a dislike, more of an opportunity for an even more helpful feature. I would love some sort of AI analysis tool to help me sort through my results. Especially when asking a lot of qualitative questions it can be hard to sort through the data in the end without reading through every single answer - if there was a way to summarise/analyse the results that would be even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lyssna allows me and my team to do moderated and unmoderated usability testing in one place. It also allows me to easily view the results of the testing so I can more efficiently start analysis - thus helping us create better experiences for our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

You get easy access to their testing panel with a decent set of parameters to define your sample. In my work, it's sometimes necessary to recruit from our membership, but when it's not, I love how straightforward Lyssna's recruitment process is! Also, the way you can create a "mashup" study using a combination of testing methods is amazing. I'm used to these kinds of tools offering "either/or" choices - e.g. either a tree test or a survey. Lyssna lets me create a mixed-methods study, which I love. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

There are some efficiency issues during test setup, for instance, you can duplicate entire tests, questions, etc. but when you're setting up something like a tree test you can't import the same tree hierarchy and apply it to all your tasks at once. They seem to be aware of these kinds of things, though, and make small adjustments that really enhance usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

I need fast turnaround time on testing in order to get insight into very specific questions. Lyssna enables me to design the test I need, get it reviewed by peers and stakeholders, and publish to a pool of prequalified testers very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

The user interface is very intuitive to use and easy to navigate. It is very easy to set up tests and get them live and I end up using it on a monthly basis. I really like that there is the ability to use it for free (At low volumes) to try it out and the prices to buy credits are very reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

At the moment I have not found any problems with the platform. It is a go to tool for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting user insights in a very short space of time. This has helped me turn around projects very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

I like how easy it is to set up a test and the variety of options available. You can run a simple preference test, first-click test, 5-second test, and more. You don’t need a large number of testers to get valuable feedback. I also appreciate the well-thought-out responses from participants. I also have gotten quick support when I have had questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

The thing I dislike most is the name. from the name it's hard to tell what the site does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps us determine how to design complex user interactions without having to build them first. We found a correlation between the results from Lyssna and live user testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

Our UX design team has tried out a number of platforms for remote usability testing and after an extensive decisioning period we settled on Lyssna last year, and have absolutely zero regrets in our decisions. It is has super charged our UX team. It is easy to use and has a wider set of features than most of the competitors, and makes remote Figma prototype testing SO easy. Lyssna's pool of testers are excellent, speedy, and provide very valuable clear feedback. One thing I particularly love is that the (rare) times when we have received an unhelpful or incomplete tester response, we have been able to very easily request a new tester and get our full results instantly. My experience of other platforms is that often you get much weaker results, with testers who are incentivized to rush through tests regardless of the quality of the insights. On Lyssna however, the testers seem engaged, tailored to our needs, incentivized to give valuable honest feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

Just a wishlist item: I wish there was a way to have contextual questions appear on certain steps through the Figma prototype flow without having to wait until the end of the flow, or interrupting the user's process. But otherwise no complaints! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

We run Figma prototype usability tests, with a mixture of Lyssna's tester audience, and with our own audience by sharing the test link through email or intercom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

Lyssna shines with its strong panel of testers, which provide valuable insights for product development. The platform's user interface is clean and easy to use, making it accessible for first-time users.

Compared to other tools available, their pricing is competitive and offers excellent value for the features they provide.

Their customer support is also responsive and helpful, making the overall experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

A potential area of improvement would be adding the option to provide step-by-step instructions when testing a prototype. This feature would make the testing process smoother and help participants follow specific tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lyssna makes user research easier and more efficient by providing quick access to a reliable panel of testers. It saves me time recruiting and helps me get clear, actionable feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

- I like that i can set it up myself without getting a sales on the call

- the new recording function was great!

- can link up to my figma prototype Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

- recording is only available in goal-oriented task, and not free-flow

- I think you have to enable recording for EVERY TASK, which i think i forgot to do so a couple of my tasks didnt have recording : (

- the reporting is a bit clunky to use, but gets the job done and has what you need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lyssna helps get users to test our product so we can uncover any major usability flaws. We tried to do our own recruiting but weren't able to in the end. So Lyssna turned out great! the turn around was quick too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lyssna?

I found suitable participants through a research panel in just a few hours. It was incredibly fast. Additionally, customer support is excellent; they are supportive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lyssna?

We can only conduct the interview in English. It is preferable to allow users to select their own language for the interview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Lyssna solving and how is that benefiting you?

am currently working on my own UX project while taking courses at Kickass UX. To recruit suitable participants for interviews, I have used Lyssna. By specifying user criteria, I can select appropriate participants in just a few hours. This process is incredibly fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
