What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is a very helpful app for team communication. You can send messages, share files, and talk in groups called channels. It helps everyone stay organized and work better together.

You can also send private messages to people. It works well with other apps like Google Drive and Zoom, which makes work faster and easier. You can search old messages easily and get only the notifications you want.

Sometimes, Slack can be slow if your team is very big or if your phone or computer is old. Also, the free version does not save all messages for a long time.

Overall, Slack is a great tool for teams to talk and work together in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Nothing all good. Sometimes, Slack can be slow if your team is very big or if your phone or computer is old. Also, the free version does not save all messages for a long time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack helps solve the problem of slow and messy communication in teams. Instead of sending long emails or waiting for replies, we can talk quickly in real time. It keeps all our messages, files, and updates in one place, so we don’t lose track of anything. Channels help us stay organized by letting each team or topic have its own space. This saves us time, reduces confusion, and makes teamwork much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

I love how Slack keeps all my team communication organized in one place, channels make it easy to separate topics and the mention function is a lifesaver when I need to find all where i have been tagged. Integration with Jira, Datadog, confluence and other tools makes it easy to keep an eye on everything at a go without switching out tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The notification can get really overbearing when you belong to so many channels— If you weren't tagged on important messages, it’s easy to miss important messages if you’re not careful about muting the right channels or setting up alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack has been a true productivity tool for our team's communication.

The channels keep everything organized and the seamless integration with Google Drive and Zoom saves us so much time switching between apps.

After using Slack daily for months, I can't imagine going back to email threads for team chats.

The mobile app works just as well as desktop and custom emoji reactions add a fun touch to conversations.

What I love most about Slack is how it cuts down on unnecessary meetings. Quick questions get answered in seconds through DMs or threads, and the 'Do Not Disturb' mode helps maintain focus.

The file sharing is super intuitive too—just drag and drop.

Setting up different channels for projects, departments, and even watercooler chat keeps work flowing smoothly.

The ability to pin important messages and set reminders has saved me from missing deadlines multiple times.

As someone who works remotely, Slack makes me feel connected to my team. Video calls work reliably but can be better and the status updates (like 'in a meeting' or 'lunch') prevent unnecessary interruptions.

Wish the free version had longer message history though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Slack makes team communication effortless and immediate. I love how channels keep conversations focused by topic, and how integrations with tools like Google Drive, Zoom, and Jira streamline our workflow. The interface is clean, intuitive, and the search function makes it easy to find past messages or shared files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Slack enables faster collaboration and decision-making compared to email. Threads help reduce clutter, and the ability to create private channels or direct messages enhances team coordination. Features like custom notifications, status updates, and integrations with project management tools reduce context switching and make remote work more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack solves the problem of fragmented communication by centralizing team interactions in one accessible, real-time platform. It reduces dependence on lengthy email threads and enables faster decision-making through organized channels, instant messaging, and file sharing. This has improved team responsiveness, reduced meeting overload, and fostered a more connected and transparent work environment, especially for remote and hybrid teams. What do you like best about Slack?

Slack offers a robust set of features—such as Workflow Builder, Slack AI, and Slack Lists—that make it an incredibly powerful collaboration tool. Its seamless integration with platforms like Salesforce ensures high ease of implementation, allowing teams to connect their workflows effortlessly. One of Slack’s strongest advantages is its ease of use, which has encouraged frequent daily use across departments.

After receiving proper training, my colleagues quickly adopted Slack into their routines, using it to streamline communications, automate tasks, and improve productivity. Additionally, Slack’s responsive and reliable customer support has been instrumental in keeping operations smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I believe some feature should be enable in every plan Such as

1. Ability to reset single user password in every slack plan

2. Unavailability of chat-wise history export in Business + and Pro Plans too Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

I successfully integrated Salesforce Agentforce, Data Cloud, and Slack to streamline HR and support operations. Here's how it came together:

Built a centralized knowledge base in Data Cloud to provide accurate, real-time information

Created a Prompt Template using Prompt Builder to retrieve relevant answers efficiently

Configured and deployed an SDR Agent focused on HR topics

Established a secure Salesforce-Slack connection for real-time communication

Activated the Agent in Slack, making it accessible across all devices

Now, employees can ask HR-related questions directly in Slack and receive instant, AI-powered responses. This has significantly improved productivity and simplified internal support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

This application is great! It’s simple to use and makes communication smooth and efficient. Sending messages is fast and reliable, and it’s perfect for keeping colleagues in the loop with the latest company updates and news. It really helps everyone stay connected and informed. Highly recommended for teams that need to stay organized and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

While Slack is a great communication tool, there are a few things that could be improved. Sometimes, it can feel a bit overwhelming with too many channels and notifications, making it easy to miss important messages. Also, the search function, while useful, isn’t always the most intuitive or accurate. Lastly, the app can be a bit heavy on system resources, especially when running in the background all day. Slack solves the problem of scattered communication by bringing all team conversations into one organized platform. Instead of relying on long email threads or switching between multiple apps, I can quickly message colleagues, share files, and stay updated on projects in real time. What do you like best about Slack?

If you want to increase collaboration, this is the tool to do it! At first I thought Slack was quite noisy, which it can be, but they've added so much functionality which I appreciate to help with this so it's more helpful than anything. I love that I can easily mute chats, group them, create channels, add gifs or emojis and more. It's actually been a lifesaver for quick turnaround projects too and reducing meeting times because my schedule is usually packed so we can do slack follow ups or opt for "Slack Standups" on days where the team needs more heads down time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Honestly I sat here thinking and this is hard which is a good thing. I can't think of anything I dislike about slack with all the customization they now offer. Years ago I would have said how noisy but they did a great job to improve that. If there was anything I'd add it'd be more features for the huddle calls but outside of huddles we use it all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack helps us collaborate quickly and easily especially when working on tight deadlines. It helps too to search up different projects and have all conversations come up to give more context on projects or figure out who might be best to work with for each project that I may have not already included. Speaking of inclusion I think Slack allows us to be as inclusive as possible with how easy it is to tag teammates in chats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

Slack excels at promoting seamless and efficient communication within teams. Its real-time messaging and channel organization allow for clear and focused discussions for entire projects or specific topics. It makes it a powerful hub for productivity, minimizing the need to switch between platforms. It enhances collaboration and ensures everyone stays aligned, even in remote or hybrid work environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

One challenge with Slack is the potential for information overload. Staying on top of all communications can sometimes feel overwhelming with multiple channels, threads, and notifications. Lastly, managing and organizing older conversations can be difficult, as important messages might get buried in long threads, even with the search functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack solves the problem of fragmented communication by centralizing team discussions in one platform. It eliminates the need for long email threads and enables instant, organized conversations through dedicated channels and threads. This improves collaboration and ensures that team members can easily access the information they need, reducing miscommunication.

Additionally, Slack’s integration with other productivity tools (e.g., Google Drive, Trello, and Zoom) streamlines workflows, allowing me to manage tasks and share updates without switching between multiple platforms. This has significantly boosted efficiency and saved time.

The ability to search message history and files also solves the challenge of retrieving critical information, ensuring I can quickly find past discussions or shared resources, which keeps projects on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Slack?

What I like about using Slack is how organized it is when it comes to adding leads. We're in the auto financing business, and when we get prospective clients, we post them on Slack. The great thing is there's a thread option where we can attach documents or add anything needed. You can also mention names, and lastly, you can integrate other tools like HubSpot and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I can’t really think of anything bad or anything I dislike about Slack because everything I need is already there. I can’t think of anything at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before, we used other tools, but they weren’t that good to use because they either had too many unnecessary features or were lacking important ones. When we started using Slack, our work became a lot easier, like organizing leads, meetings, and information. Plus, it can be integrated with other CRMs, which helps make our work even more efficient. What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is easy to manage, easy to integrate with other software, and easy to implement.

Any person can use it very easily. There is no need to train a new person about using it.

I really like Slack Software because Slack isn't a headache just like some others. In Slack, there is no chance to make mistakes, everything is in front of my eyes.

I like that we can create channels for every single requirement, in my office there is a channel named Announcement, and it's very easy to get notified.

There is a channel called Daily Tasks, and we use this channel every morning to write our daily tasks. We are going to work on the points below. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

There is nothing to dislike.

Everything is awesome in Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Slack is very useful for remote team as mine. We discuss about the workflow. Tasks assin to the team member by team leader. We use our channels as we need time to time.

Cleints are also connected with us via Slack and they connect that team member who work on particular task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
