PeoplePerHour offers a user-friendly interface, making it easy to connect with clients and freelancers worldwide. The secure payment system ensures that transactions are safe and reliable. Additionally, the variety of job categories allows freelancers to find projects that match their skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The support system of PeoplePerHour is extremely slow, which is not acceptable in today’s fast-paced online marketplace. While other platforms usually provide support responses within 2 minutes to a maximum of 24 hours, PeoplePerHour takes up to a week to reply to emails. This is a major drawback of PPH, as timely support is crucial for both freelancers and clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like PeoplePerHourbecause it’s easy to use, has secure payments, and handles cases fairly and quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there's nothing major I dislike about PeoplePerHour. But I do think they should look into fake or inactive jobs that stay open for months without being awarded — this wastes our credits. It would be better if such jobs were auto-cancelled after 30 days and credits refunded. Also, reviewing the credit prices and the 20% commission would really help freelancers. Lowering both a little would make a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The clients are legit on this and they accept payoneer as withdrawal method which is necessary in some countries, so a solid 9 for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their withdrawal time is so late, like you have to wait 14 days after client accept your order, and after 14 days you have to wait another 2 days which is processing the funds, and their customer service is so lazy to be honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to recommend for freelancing, because it provide us a great opportunity to change ourself. That's why I would like to share my friends Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Giving the very less free proposal to connect with client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can find new and exciting projects on the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes some people posting projects offer a very low pay, maybe thinking they would get a good bargain. But I think that only lowers the quality and service they would get Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All freelancer platforms have their own problems, but PPH is IMO easily the most reliable and easy to use.
There are too many freelancers out there who can't speak English properly, won't hold prices, and under-deliver anyway. The hidden cost in time and missed deadlines can be significant.
PPH isn't the only platform, but it's the one I go to first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm very happy as a purchaser. But my experience as a seller a few years ago made me realise that, after commissions and promotional costs, PPH was earning at least as much as I was.
I didn't entertain the idea again.
But it works for a lot of people... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using it for the last 5 years as a freelancer and I personally feel that the platform is very easy to use and has a very simple interface compared to its competitors like Upwork. The progression system is also great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a lot of things that I dislike about it. Firstly the platform has a huge potential to be the number 1 among its competitors but I feel like they are "Satisfied" with the current platform. They don't want to improve. They can simply take a look at its competitors like Upwork and see how many features they are providing like the desktop app to track time, and a separate mobile app for clients and freelancers.
The worst thing about the PPH is its clearing period. They implemented this new clearing period in 2020 I think. They assume that most of their freelancers are earning around £1000 per month, which is a lot if you are not a UK native. After completing every project I need to wait at least 14 days before I can withdraw it and then again PayPal takes an additional 2 to 3 days to transfer it to my bank account.
So for example, if the client pays my invoice today be it £10 or £500 (25/07/2023), I will receive the money in my bank account on or around 11/08/2023. Hope they think about this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
PeoplePerHour.com is one the finest and most honest platform for me as a freelancer. The most amazing thing is this platform provides me short time jobs with high payment, which is really great thing. The Job listing pattern is totally different and unique. The pattern told me the client requirements, their timeline, priorityness, the amount is funded or not etc. These features help me a lot to find the right job with high payment. There proposal theme. Everything is fine in PeoplePerHour.com, but their proposal design/pattern should be changed slightly to improve that. Whenever I try to send a proposal to a new client, I get confused about a client by looking at their profile details on the right side. The options, PROJECTS AWARDED %, are not enough to easily understand the client rating. I am an old user, so I understand, but it wasn't very pleasant for me when I was new, and I thought every new user felt the same. So Peopleperhour should look into this and should make the interface easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That fees is less.. The only thing that i found to be good was that the fees was very low compared to other platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First of all, there are literally 100s of fake job posts there daily. People who would post many jobs but never hire... And secondly as a freelancer.. there is no protection...
Any client can at any point report you, and they would block your account... and you cant complain.. you can only talk to that specific client to solve it for you.... which they never would...
And secondly, another experience of mine... the Client changed the requirements after 3 weeks of work... I was creating a website.. and he changed the url... and wanted a different website...
and when i talked with support... they said they cant do anything... i should just cancel the contract and dont work for them anymore... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
