
I work as a freelancer in it, so tracking time and tasks for customers is essential, in every product i tried so far i find bugs or stuff which works not in that way i want to work. So i keep always looking for new tools.
With paymo it looks like i finally found one which fits me. A usable client for OS x and IOS was a must and so far i did not find any showstoppers and its pretty straight forward to track time and no delay tracking tasks ok they manage their tasks by themselves but other tools i have to wait 5 minutes to import them or their client is unusable or buggy.
Paymo is fast and has a simple workflow that is important for me, i don't need thousands of features and spend ours tracking time and tasks so it fits for me.

I really wanted this app to work for my business, but I was pretty disappointed with their customer support. I had a few questions related to functionality, future plans, and, after not hearing from them, how to completely delete an account. I followed up twice, but the sales team didn’t get back to me—probably because I wasn’t going to buy. Notably, they were quick to respond during the trial. It is easy to use and learn,with alot of features.It's ability to bill our clients with the timesheet completes our process perfectly.It has fairly complete dashboards for generating reports and useful information for stakeholders.Am able to send out invoices that can be paid with Paypal whether the customer is a registered user or not.Paymo is a great tool and i highly recommend it. The best thing about paymo is the client invoicing, we wouldn't be dependent on any other platform for doing it - paymo does it for us just in a few clicks.

It doesn't have a "travel mode". What do I mean by this? At work, they want to track our time traveled from home to work and vice versa, but if I close my computer Paymo stops tracking. It would be quite useful for me if I could activate a travel mode before going to work so I could upload that instead of nothing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the way Paymo has been designed. With its straightforward menu sidebar, it's easy to access everything your business needs quickly and easily. From adding users or managing subscriptions at the click of a button, to creating tasks in the 'Project' tab for members within my organisation, or working with accounting by invoicing expenses, inputting estimates and making one-off payments, I no longer have any problems keeping track of finances either as there are fantastic support systems set up that allow me to migrate from free plans to larger ones depending on what works best for my growing business - amazing! I really dislike the lack of MacOS and iPhone applications in Paymo, as well as its poor UX design. I also find it to be quite limited in comparison with dedicated accounting platforms; in particular, it lags behind in terms of features within the financial sector. Although the time tracking feature is inconvenient due to its awkwardness - which discourages me from using it altogether - this remains a major annoyance that needs to be addressed. Paymo gives you OPTIONS! It's really been the best out of the 10+ apps we've tried, as it allows us to really manage our projects. We particularly chose Paymo for the Time-Tracking feature. Whether we're working on multiple clients, multiple pay-based projects, or just need to generate a time report....you can do all of this and more with Paymo!
