I find the software to be user friendly, our managers have an easy time figuring out what they need to do in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Paycor's customer service to be lacking, each person has a different answer or you get routed to another location and have to keep repeating yourself. The system can't take into account future time off accruals for an employee to see what their balance of time will be on that day unless they try taking more time off and seeing what it will be. The reporting feature I feel is a joke, I can't create my own report unless I start with a template in the new reporting area. There are reports that we need as a company that don't really use a template per say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Paycor offers a wide range of products that can all be used from the same platform. The interconnectivity is good until it is not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Paycor's support is pretty much the worst I have ever experienced with any software provider. A lot of the module's are cumbersome. A major draw back is the fact that many of the modules require what I would call universal configuration but that might not fit your business case. For example time off and scheduling might be managed by one person and performance reviews another but an employee can only have one "manager" in the system. Implementation was also the very worst experience I have ever had in my life. We have spent the past year undoing configuration settings because the implementation team did not take the time to understand our business. Lastly integrations take an incredibly long time to accomplish for no apparent reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Paycor is its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features. It streamlines payroll, HR, and timekeeping all in one place, making it easy for both administrators and employees to navigate. The software is intuitive, minimizing the learning curve for new users. The most helpful aspect is its payroll automation, which ensures employees are paid accurately and on time while automatically calculating taxes, deductions, and benefits. Paycor also offers excellent reporting capabilities that provide deep insights into workforce data, and their responsive customer support is a major plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside of Paycor is that its mobile app, while functional, doesn’t offer all the same capabilities as the desktop version. This can be inconvenient for employees who need access to more detailed information on the go. Additionally, navigating between different modules can sometimes feel a bit clunky, which can be frustrating when you're trying to quickly find what you need. The initial setup process also seems a bit complex, and while that’s not something I handle directly, it can lead to delays or confusion for employees in the beginning. Paycor is a great way to clock in and out at work and is very effective for all of our employees here. It is also a very great way to look at PTO, what hours you've accrued and it is easy to change bank accounts. It is very easy to use too which is nice since we use it every day. It took a little bit to adjust to learning everything it offers since there are so many great features to use but it is great how many features there are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to use Paycor. When I'm needing to clock in and clock out and ask for time off I feel like it is really easy to navigate. It didn't require much training to figure out as a new employee and doesnt require much training when implementing with others. I was able to jump in pretty quickly and start using it on a daily basis. Now that I have been here for a while I have been able to make adjustments as needed and everything is really easy to use. Its a program that I believe is well worth the cost and will recommend it to other businesses who are looking for a great product that will serve their employees well. There are times where I am unable to clock in due to our security software so I have to go do a missed punch later on. I dont think this is paycors fault but it is the most annoying part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like using Paycor because it's an easy way to track my daily timecards and keep track of how many hours I work each week. Also, it is very convenient to have tax records and such readily available. The whole system is easy to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I find unhelpful about Paycor; however, a competing payroll company I also have experience with, ADP, offers rewards and/or special offers while using it so that would be nice to see from Paycor too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the calendar interface and ability to see open shifts and other locations' schedules easily.
The different tabs on the website allow you to favorite pages in pc that you go to a lot, making it easier to use to each persons' preference. I enjoy the home page look as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having to log in every 3 minutes, not being able to leave website or app up for too long (getting locked out as a result) Inconsistency of mobile app loading/ locking you out too often.
When adding time to the timecard, the "scheduled for" number of hours should populate on all of those pages, regardless of how many different dates and hours you are editing/adding, and that is not always the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Paycor does have some positive aspects, particularly its integrations with benefits providers, 401K, and QuickBooks—so long as you don’t need a new file created. It took over two months and a lot of unneccesary calls and emails to get 1 file re-created, which was frustrating.
While the platform itself offers useful integrations, the overall customer support experience has been disappointing. If everything works as expected, it’s a decent system, but if you run into issues, don’t expect quick or knowledgeable assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our experience with Paycor has been nothing short of frustrating. What was promised during the sales process has not been delivered, and their customer support is beyond inadequate and oftentimes rude.
We have had ongoing issues with paycheck delivery, PTO accruals, and the recruiting application not functioning properly. Despite numerous follow-ups and repeated assurances from multiple representatives that these concerns would be addressed, absolutely no resolutions have been provided. Instead, the only "solution" ever offered is to purchase additional products—yet we can’t even get the ones we already have to work properly.
The lack of knowledgeable customer support is appalling. We recently had a tax issue, and when calling for assistance, the support representative had no idea what they were talking about. Worse, they provided completely incorrect information, which could have led to further issues had we not double-checked everything ourselves. It’s unacceptable that a payroll provider lacks expertise in such a critical area.
It’s amazing how available and attentive Paycor’s team was when trying to sell us their services, but now that we’re facing major issues, I can’t get any meaningful support. We are now actively exploring alternative payroll providers because this level of service is simply unacceptable. If you’re considering Paycor, be prepared for a sales pitch full of promises, followed by a complete lack of follow-through when you actually need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe the most beneficial feature of PayCor is that I can clock in from anywhere. I especially appreciate being able to view my pay stubs in a PDF format. Additionally, I can manage my sick and vacation time through the platform. We can also send "Announcements" from the main page! It is very easy to use. Customer support has always been helpful. I literally use this every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that I have saved my device and still have to provide a code to login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is great. The ATS and benefits products cannot be beat and have saved us so much time and have added an immeasurable amount of efficiency. We had an unfortunate implementation experience, with our "dedicated" Paycor implementation team turning over 3 complete times. Codes were set up incorrectly, after over a year, we are still trying to get things fixed. The system is easy to use for our employees as we use it for almost everything, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between except learning management. Customer Support can be a nightmare, as it takes a long time to get issues resolved and tickets get closed out randomly without proper resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only two dislikes of Paycor are customer support and implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
