What do you like best about Paddle?

The UI is clean and intuitive; you can do a lot on the platform, from handling transactions to adding discount codes and coupons.

It's easy to search for customers using the different search options available, and the support team is also very helpful in case you ever need additional help with anything on the platform.

I am a customer support agent and use the platform frequently. They also provide valuable insights on the analytical side for the revenue that is generated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paddle?

The only thing that I can come up with at the moment is sometimes it takes over 24 hours for the support team to reach back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Paddle makes it super easy for our company to manage the different subscribers on our platform. It can range from simple tasks like canceling subscriptions or refunds for customers, to providing valuable insights on our revenue stream.

What do you like best about Paddle?

I've been using Paddle for over 3 years and have really enjoyed the experience!

The Billing Dashboard is intuitive and incredibly useful. It includes ProfitWell Metrics, which makes subscription revenue reporting both accessible and insightful.

The customer billing experience is excellent as well, it supports a wide range of payment methods, and the recently introduced customer portal has significantly improved the user experience.

Their developer-first Billing API, along with a robust SDK, made integration one of the smoothest we've ever done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paddle solves the complexity of managing global SaaS billing, so we don't have to build and maintain payment orchestration ourselves.

It's a MOR platform, that means we avoid legal headaches around international sales.

What do you like best about Paddle?

The integration with Paddle was super easy. Their developer docs are thorough.

They have built Paddle Billing from scratch, after learning many lessons from the previous product - Paddle Classic.

Paddle Billing cover a wide range of scenarios, and has a robust data model that you can adjust to your needs.

It allows storing custom data on the different entities, so integration with your own service is easy. For example, storing references to your own users, products or accounts.

They solve all Tax issues in any country, and as they are the merchant of record, I get a single payment every once in a while which is easy to manage.

Their business-facing UI is easy to use and manage your customers and products.

They also provide buyer-facing UI so you don't have to write all the checkout UI, and all other pieces of customers-facing ui. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paddle?

Pricing is a little high (5%), but reasonable.

What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my country I can't use Stripe. So this is the first problem that Paddle solved for me.

But after using them, I'm pretty glad that it came out like that because all of the benefits that I've mentioned.

What do you like best about Paddle?

- The fact we don't have to manage the VAT recovery and compliance with each countries/states. For worldwide digital products (SaaS) growing like Iconosquare, it's a huge time-saving and avoid to hire a full-time accountant or multiple services to help us to manage VAT.

- The variety of currencies supported

- The newgen platform (API-first for developers) is fantastic and so easy to integrate (especially with Laravel Cashier)

What do you dislike about Paddle?

- Still few rooms of improvement to smooth the workflow of sales-led (vs. self-service) operations: quotes, manual invoices with custom prices, which are partially available in their API but not yet in their platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Paddle helps us first to manage payments, but above all, to manage our VAT compliance all over the countries/states.

What do you like best about Paddle?

Signup and onboarding was a breeze. Website verification took a little while, but that's only because of the nature of my business.

I had a few customer support inquiries which were addressed promptly and accurately.

I used a 3rd party worpdress plugin to integrate Paddle Payments to my website, and integration was fairly easy with a very useful sandbox environment for testing.

What do you dislike about Paddle?

I am new on paddle with only a couple of test transactions, so I do not really have anything to complain about so far. Hopefully my initial first (good) impressions about Paddle do not fade over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paddle?

One of things i really liked about the paddle is the separate full sandbox setup to fully test paddle integration before going live.it is really helpful in that aspect

What do you like best about Paddle?

Paddle is an excellent resource for small companies/individuals to sell online digital goods worldwide. Paddle takes care of the heavy lifting when it comes to collecting sale tax and processing payments to sell software. As a small company this saves time allowing us to focus on supporting our customer and building great products. We use Paddle almost every day for all of our online orders!

The platform is relatively easy to use and set up/integrate for basic sales. Some niche scenarios can be a little tricky, but support has been able to assist with questions.

They’re always adding new features, which makes the platform even better over time and being able to invoice AND provide a checkout on our website is helpful for different scenarios.

It’s easy to get help, but some responses take longer than expected. Having a support team in the US would alleviate some of this as part of the delay is due to time zones (the team being in Europe). Support quality overall is good and our issues get resolved in a reasonable manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paddle?

Areas for improvement: the ability send paid invoice confirmation to customers from our dashboard, invoice payments to show up in the transaction log when cleared, ability to send auto invoice reminders for payment, ability to manually block certain transactions via checkout based on criteria to avoid chargebacks, quicker support response times, and lower fees (especially on higher ticket sales). We usually use it to request invoices and refunds, and it's been a very useful tool and easy to access.
