Its user environment is simple, easy to use, the learning curve takes little time, it is free, and it integrates well with the Google ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would improve in customization options and advanced tools for evaluation and tracking, as well as not allowing much modification of the interface or adding advanced functionalities. It does not have detailed tools to provide a better evaluation of the students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary for Google Classroom and I have been using it each day for the last seven years! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though Google Classroom is a comprehensive classroom solution and is continuously evolving, it can further benefit from advanced grading tools, deeper analytics, enhanced communication features, and more robust integration with third-party apps to better meet the diverse needs of educators and students.
The Practice sets on Google classroom could also be refined and made more teacher friendly with possibilities for adaptions for students.
It would be great if Google classroom could have some sort of 'differtiation tool' and users could further benefits from features like single submission from group members and visibity of the group members on the platform itself, currently one needs to get in the assignment's editing setting to be able to see the set groups.
Availing a better and detailed version of the google classroom for parents could be further beneficial as currently Google classroom is more focused on only teachers and parents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used classroom for over four years now and I don't think there is any other software or application out there that gives the users a feel of real classroom, what I mean by this is that it connects teachers and students really seamlessly and makes the process of sharing notes and ppts between the two parties very efficient and simple. It also allows the teachers to schedule real time classes as it is also integrated with Google meet to provide that feature. Not only during the covid period but even now classroom continues to impress it's users with new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
According to me classroom is one of best softwares by Google till date but a major drawback is the requirement of a stable internet connection to access classroom as it connected to users Gmail account. The feature of uploading and submitting work also consumes a good amount of data (internet). I think apart from this Google has done a fantastic job in creating classroom. Google Classroom allows me to centralize all communication with students. It enables me to post assignments and grade them using rubrics directly on the platform. Finally, it allows for calculating averages, etc.
It is simple and easy to use for both teachers and students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it has a lot of room for improvement. Its simplicity is both its greatest strength and its biggest drawback. The feedback tools are quite limited; it would be great to have a native feature for recording audio or video responses to students.
Regarding grade weighting, it would be helpful to have intermediate weighting options—specifically, the ability to view breakdowns by evaluation period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful part of Google Classroom is that you can post material, assign work, and see who has/hasn't turned their work in all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything that I do not like about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about the application is its ease of use when uploading any material or assigning tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least is that when my students upload their assignments, they usually open in doc format for me to correct, and then they remain in my account, taking up space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Google Classroom is a very easy of use software as for teachers than students. It provide an excellent environment for interactive learning and teaching resource exchanges. Is excellent for check and rating student work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think that the great disadvantage of Google Classroom is the lack of it own conference system, which, undoubtly would be excellent for students and teacher keep on touch. It need too more flexibility about resources support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is one of the best Student / Academic smart education platform i have ever used till date, it is very easy to intergrate with other google suits like calendar, and as a student i used it each day for 4 years of my college life, never experienced a single issue till date Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes uploading takes a bit of time in the documents and many a times notifications are bit off Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found Google Classroom particularly effective during my higher education, especially for organizing and tracking my online courses. What struck me the most was the simplicity with which one can access resources shared by teachers and submit assignments. The integration with Google Drive is a huge plus, making it easier to store and share documents. This allowed me to stay organized, even during exam periods where time management is crucial. There are some aspects that could be improved for more professional use. For example, during online exams, I found that the options were quite limited. It would be useful to have additional features like more robust monitoring tools or more varied assessment management options. Also, the interface, although simple, sometimes lacks flexibility to adapt to more complex needs, especially in the context of advanced courses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
