What I like most is Egnyte's virtual hard drive, as it saves me from the high costs of purchasing and maintaining servers. Egnyte platform is super friendly and easy to use and implement. We saved all our admin and project stuffs in Egnyte every day. And Egnyte is very easy to integrate with Microsoft, Adobe, and AudoDesk products. I cannot find any dislike about Egnyte. We have been using Egnyte since 2008 and they only have less than 10 issues that we need to make phone calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick responses and technical expertise when something pops up that you cannont figure out. I also like that people proactively reaach out after we have attended Eqnyte Webinars to provide further information along with answering questions to detemrine where else they can help us. I really cannot see any downsides since we started using Egnyte. They appear to be on the cutting edge of Cloud Server capabilites, software and being prepared for Cybersecurity issues that could and do pop up with a small business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company setup Egnyte for our remote construction sites with Egnyte in 2019 to ensure that documents and drawings were both secure and properly saved online through Egnyte Desktop. The sites with cellular modems use the caching option, so that they can edit CAD drawings and documents quickly, allowing Egnyte to sync the files in the background. This has ensured that users aren't resorting to working with files on their desktop risking loss or version issues. Having the drawings on an iPad with the Egnyte iOS app also saves on paper, as users move around the construction site. Once a user is set up, I have rarely needed to provide support. It would be nice if there was another grouping between Power User and Admin, where a project manager could be assigned rights to certain users/tasks, such as recovering from trash something another user mistakenly deleted. There is nothing I dislike about Egnyte, but we would like to see more ala carte features available to all plans.

We would also like more granular roles and permissions for our technical team to perform specific tasks like cold storage recovery without having access to sensitive data.

With Egnyte, I have a reliable place to store and access all of my work whenever I need it, making it the perfect choice for file sharing. With this service, I can easily sync my files across all my devices and access them from anywhere. When dealing with large amounts of data or collaborating with colleagues, the time saved by quickly and efficiently uploading and downloading files is invaluable. In areas where mobility is critical, the platform's ability to provide access from any device - at home, in the office or on the road - has proven to be a significant benefit. It can take a few minutes to reload files during pauses, and there are a few areas that need improvement, such as folder security (I can't currently lock folders). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My personal favorite thing about Egnyte is that when you are editing a document, it locks the document from being edited by another user to avoid any mistakes or overlaps being made, which has been an issue for me in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
