What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love ClickUp! I did a TON of research on different project management platforms and tried them all out. ClickUp was by far the best. I then had to convince my team to switch over from our previous tool and they all love ClickUp. Even my team member who thought Trello was the best system has been convinced. It's a really nice tool and has helped my team to be more efficient and organized with all the various projects we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

My company used to use Gmail which integrated great with ClickUp, but we recently had to switch to Office 365 and it's not as seamless. There is still a workaround using the email features within click up (copying the address to send to the list and/or task) which is nice, but it's just not as quick as the button we had in Gmail.

I also wish the paid versions weren't per person. But that's pretty standard on most project management platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:

Just do it! It's great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has helped us to keep our projects all in one place as well as create an archive of past projects. We even found a way to create a CRM within ClickUp which was a nice surprise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp offers unmatched flexibility with customizable views (List, Board, Gantt, Calendar), powerful automations, and built-in docs, goals, and time tracking—all in a single workspace. It centralizes team collaboration and project management, allowing us to replace multiple tools like Trello, Asana, and Notion with one cohesive system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Its ability to scale across teams, projects, and workflows is the most helpful. We can set up everything from simple to-do lists to complex cross-functional roadmaps. Task dependencies, automations, templates, and integrations with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub save time and reduce manual work. The mobile app is also great for staying updated on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp centralizes our project and task management in a single, customizable platform, eliminating the need to juggle multiple apps. It allows teams to collaborate in real time, track progress visually, and stay aligned with deadlines through reminders, automations, and notifications. What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp has completely transformed the way we manage our internal tasks at the agency. It allows me to track the entire team’s workflow in one place, prioritize urgent matters, and keep communication centralized. The ability to automate processes, switch between multiple views (like list, board, and calendar), and integrate with other tools has significantly boosted my daily productivity. It's an all-in-one platform that adapts perfectly to our workflow and makes team management much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

So far, I haven't found anything I dislike about ClickUp. The platform is intuitive, flexible, and consistently updated with new features that make task and team management even smoother. It truly delivers everything I need in a productivity tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is solving the problem of scattered workflows and lack of visibility across our team's tasks. Before, we had information spread across emails, spreadsheets, and chat apps. Now, everything is centralized in one place, which helps us stay organized, meet deadlines, and collaborate more effectively. It also helps me prioritize tasks, automate repetitive work, and maintain a clear overview of all ongoing projects, saving both time and mental load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

It serves as our all-in-one control center. Every campaign, escalation, process improvement, and task lives in one place—connected through custom views, automations, docs, and dashboards. It replaces scattered spreadsheets, endless Slack threads, and siloed tools. I can easily monitor task ownership, SLA performance, and cross-functional workflows without leaving the platform. Simply put, ClickUp gives me full visibility and control across multiple teams and functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

What I dislike about ClickUp is that some of its most powerful features—like dashboards, automations, and custom fields—can feel overwhelming to set up, especially for new users or less tech-savvy teams. There's a learning curve before you can fully unlock its potential. The mobile app also needs improvement; it's slow, clunky, and not ideal for task-heavy users on the go. Lastly, reporting and analytics could be more robust—while dashboards help with visibility, exporting detailed SLA or historical performance data still requires workarounds or external tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is solving our biggest operational challenges—disjointed communication, manual task tracking, and lack of visibility across teams. As the CCM Head, I oversee campaigns, escalations, listings, and process improvement projects across multiple platforms. ClickUp centralizes all of that into one workspace. Automations save hours each week, dashboards let me monitor SLA compliance in real time, and task dependencies ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It’s improved our execution speed, accountability, and cross-team collaboration significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

As someone who juggles a lot between work projects, personal goals, and creative hobbies, ClickUp was already my go-to platform — but becoming a Verified user took it to a whole new level. The recognition not only validated my skills and workflow expertise but also connected me to a vibrant, supportive community of like-minded professionals.

The resources, early access to features, and direct feedback opportunities are incredible perks that make me feel like I'm part of shaping the future of ClickUp. It’s clear the team truly values the voices of their power users. Plus, having the Verified badge brings an extra layer of credibility when collaborating with teams or coaching others on how to optimize their systems.

If you're serious about organization, efficiency, and being part of a next-level productivity movement, getting ClickUp Verified is 100% worth it. It’s not just a badge — it’s an invitation to excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Even though I love ClickUp and being a Verified user, there are definitely a few things I’d love to see improved:

Multiple tabs or split-screen view inside the app would be a huge upgrade. It would make it so much easier to work across different tasks or spaces without constantly flipping back and forth.

A built-in chat/messaging system (kind of like Facebook Messenger) would be amazing — something where conversations could stay open on the side while still viewing tasks, docs, or dashboards. It would make discussing projects way more seamless without losing focus on the work itself.

Speed/performance improvements would really help too. Since we use ClickUp for literally everything in our business, it feels like the more we build out and organize, the slower it gets. A lighter, faster experience would seriously take ClickUp from great to perfect.

Overall, I'm super happy with ClickUp, but these upgrades would make an already awesome tool even more powerful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp has definitely solved our problems of paying for multiple apps and has simplified our team communications, work orders, personal and client calendars. And so much more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp is extremely helpful for managing tasks and keeping everything organized in one place. The platform is very intuitive, offers a high level of customization, and makes it easy to prioritize activities and meet deadlines. Task management, in particular, has improved our team's productivity significantly, and the ability to view everything through dashboards and lists is a game-changer. I use it every day, all day long, and already integrated with some other apps, like Toogl Track, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Sometimes the number of features can be overwhelming for new users. It takes a little time to learn how to configure everything in the best way for your workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp has helped us solve a lot of problems at our accounting office. Before using it, it was hard to keep track of all the tasks we had to do for different clients and projects. Now, with ClickUp, we have everything organized in one place. I can easily see what needs to be done, when it’s due, and who is responsible for it.

One of the best things is that we can set up recurring tasks for the things we need to do every month, which saves us time and helps make sure we don’t forget anything. It’s also really helpful to have all the team’s work visible, so we can stay on top of deadlines and make better decisions about who should work on what. Thanks to ClickUp, our office is much more organized, and we are able to get more work done without feeling overwhelmed. It’s made a big difference in how we manage our clients and our daily work. What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp's versatility cannot be beat. If I'm just working on a straightforward to-do list or some intricate multi-team project, ClickUp accommodates flawlessly. I appreciate the Calendar view when time-blocking, the drag-and-drop functionality in rescheduling, and the effortless integration with the likes of Slack, Google Drive, and Zapier. Being able to tailor dashboards, automate workflows, and monitor tasks in real time has incredibly heightened my productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The only negative aspect is that it can be overwhelming initially due to the number of features. There's a learning curve, particularly for beginners who are not used to using project management tools. But once you get accustomed to it (and use templates), it is a powerhouse. Some minor occasional lag with huge workspaces may occur as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp is addressing the single biggest issue of handling multiple workflows, teams, and projects from a single all-encompassing platform. In the past, I used to switch between a variety of applications just to handle tasks, due dates, and communications. Nowadays, everything's centralized — all tasks, documents, chats, calendars, and dashboards within one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp Brain really is a time-saver. The built-in AI can now summarize lengthy threads, draft docs, and even transcribe voice clips right inside a task, which lets my team cut down on context-switching and chase fewer add-on tools.

New calendar & Gantt upgrades make planning less painful. The March 2025 refresh merged tasks, docs, chats, and meetings into a single calendar view and added AI-powered time blocking; Gantt charts load noticeably faster and keep the zoom level persistent.

Everything in one workspace. We run agile sprints, publish docs, and manage OKRs without shuffling between apps. Native integrations (Slack, Drive, GitHub) are quick to wire up.

Granular permissions + robust automations. It’s easy to give contractors comment-only access or trigger multi-step workflows when a status changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Interface still feels busy. ClickUp has trimmed some clutter, but the sidebars and settings panels can overwhelm new users.

Mobile app trails the web experience. Board drag-and-drop occasionally stutters, and offline mode is limited.

AI quality is uneven. Brain excels at summaries, but longform “writer” outputs need heavy editing, and knowledge-base answers aren’t as sharp as they were a year ago

Pricing creep. Core features stay affordable, yet advanced AI credits and premium automations add up fast for large teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp has reined in our tool sprawl by giving every team one source of truth; replaced status meetings and manual updates with real-time dashboards; cleared busywork through smart automations and built-in AI; ended permission headaches with granular, role-based sharing; and turned once-murky OKRs into live, connected goals that update themselves. Translated Using AI
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp has literally been the second digital brain for our audiovisual production company, Onix Medios. What I like the most is its level of customization: you can build your own organizational system that fits exactly how you think and work. It's not just a task manager, it's a platform where every project, client, or idea finds its ideal space. My partner and I have been using it for 3-4 years, after a friend who has been on ClickUp for over 7 years recommended it to us. We have restructured everything several times, and each attempt has helped us better understand the possibilities it offers. I also greatly value that ClickUp is constantly evolving: new features, better integrations, and now, with artificial intelligence, many opportunities open up to better optimize and automate processes. It feels alive and in constant change, just like a startup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Sometimes it can be overwhelming due to the number of options and ways to do things. It's not that it's bad, on the contrary, it's part of its potential, but it requires time, patience, and constant learning. I would still like to feel more expert in taking advantage of all the functionalities, especially now that AI is being integrated.

Moreover, although the advancement in AI is promising, I still feel that it lacks being a truly proactive and autonomous virtual assistant, as one would expect. Hopefully, in a few more years, ClickUp will manage to be that "virtual partner" that accompanies you and works by your side almost organically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using ClickUp, at Onix Medios we had many problems centralizing the information of our audiovisual production projects: tasks, files, delivery times, and client follow-ups were spread across different tools or even in emails and chats. With ClickUp, we managed to build a unique system where everything is organized and connected. It has allowed us to improve project traceability, internal communication, and adapt better as our business grows. Even so, we feel that we are using only 20% of the potential that ClickUp offers. We know we can continue improving our workspace and plan to keep learning and implementing new functionalities to make the most of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most about ClickUp is how flexible it is to adapt to my team’s needs. I use it daily to organize QA test cycles, document evidence, automate repetitive tasks, and track the progress of tickets across multiple squads. Automations and custom templates save a lot of time and help maintain consistency in our processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

While it's a very powerful tool, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. Some advanced automations or filters may take extra time to set up, and managing permissions across larger teams could be more intuitive. Still, once configured, the benefits far outweigh the learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps centralize all our work in one place, which reduces the need for scattered communication and improves team alignment. It solves the challenge of tracking multiple testing tasks across different teams by offering customizable views, automation, and clear documentation. As a result, our QA process is more efficient, organized, and easier to scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp brings all our tasks, documents, goals, and time tracking into one unified workspace. We’ve been using it since 2018, and it’s incredibly flexible for managing both internal workflows and client projects. The customizable views (List, Board, Calendar, etc.) and detailed automation options save us hours each week. Plus, their frequent feature updates show they’re serious about improving the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Some of the newer features feel a bit buggy when first released, and the mobile app can be slightly slow when loading complex workspaces. Also, while customization is great, it can be overwhelming for new users without proper onboarding or templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps us manage multiple client and internal projects in one centralized workspace. Before ClickUp, our team used scattered tools for tasks, docs, time tracking, and goal management. Now, everything is integrated, which has boosted productivity, improved communication, and made project tracking more transparent. It’s especially helpful for remote collaboration and handling multiple design and development projects efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
