AWeber has a variety of tutorial videos and webinars that are very helpful for helping me organize my traffic needs. I have used AWeber to build my list for years. When my VA wanted me to use a different autoresponder, I told her I did not plan on switching. She dumped everything in my lap because she didn't know how to use AWeber. I still wouldn't switch. I'm using the database of questions and answers as well as the videos and webinars. Help has been offered when asked, too. I won't change autoresponders. I have thousands in my different sequenced emails and love it.

The downside of using AWeber is there are so many things you can do within each email sequence or within each list. There can be a lot of steps and tags and options for adding to different follow-up sequences. I am always learning more of their brilliant tools.

Having been a long-time customer, Aweber used to provide reliable email marketing services with decent deliverability. Their platform was familiar and served our digital marketing needs adequately for years, which made it initially a go-to choice for affiliate marketers like myself. The recent platform updates have severely impacted digital entrepreneurs and affiliate marketers. The implementation of new sending limits combined with significant price increases shows a clear disconnect from their loyal customer base.

As someone who's built their business around email marketing, these changes forced me to downgrade to a free account and migrate to Moosend, which offers better value, more transparent pricing, and superior customer support. Everything about AWeber is simply a pain in the backside. You go to the site and set all your CNAME records and verifications as directed. Maybe they verify, maybe they don't. Who can tell? Then you add your subscribers. They show up in the system, but then your landing pages go dead to "be reviewed" for reasons the rep won't explain. You build a newsletter, and days later it's still not sent to "review" your account - for reasons the rep won't tell you. It takes them 2-3 days on average to respond to any support request, all while your email sits in holding for reasons you don't have.

In short, AWeber is a massive pain in the butt. Coming from a competing platform, I'm going back I gave them a try, they're awful, I'm out. Absolutely horrendous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Aweber is comparatively an easy solution for email marketing and can also be used for some basic ecommerce marketing needs. We choose this platform for our marketing department because it is easy for us to work with, it comes with all fundamental features required for a successful marketing, and it is quite market competitive and I would say fairly priced software. There are times when you accidentally host unsubscribed people on your list or you want to host additional people that aren’t on the list – in any case, you will be charged extra and this cycle leads to an immense bill which is not a favorable situation for any company. We have been affiliated with the platform for ever since and for most of the part we have now become a part of it and know or how-to-do’s, however, sometimes we want to do segmentations at once while sending a newsletter but it’s just not possible – I do hope they will include this option soon!
