I like the simplicity of the platform for new hires. It is easy to train employees on the main foundation. Then, build from their as they learn more of the office workflows, etc. It is nice to we are able to set up defaults for suspense's/activities, it is helpful for entering a large batch of the same action. It is also a nice to be able to amend how the documents are labeled in the event of adjusting the name or if it was attached in error to note it. AMS does have nice reports that can be utilized, and some of the reports are very easy to customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, there are downsides in AMS when it comes to field customization. I wish there were ways to add certain fields to the main screens. There is not a way to set defaults for our agency, each user has to update their system. I am having difficulty with carriers that download, I have tried AMS support, the carrier and IVANS, everyone points the finger someone else's direction on who needs to fix it. The connection is lost often, the good news is nothing is lost, you just have to wait a few minutes for it to reconnect. The policy view is not that customizable and not easily updated, a lot of the times there is misinformation listed (active vs cancel and vice versa). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using AMS360 for a while now, and it’s become an integral part of our daily operations. AMS360 is helpful because there are many tasks available right from the customers file such as printing, emailing, or signing documents through docusign. You have access to reports and can create proposals. Download is great because the information is automatically in our system from the company. I love reference connect too. I can view all policies without going in and out of different pages.I can open a page on a new tab and work on both without the program freezing. I can pull reports on the program itself and don't need a seperate system. I can attach to multiple policies. I can remove policies or notes made in error. It is user friendly and they provide so many resources for training and understanding. They have excellent customer service. Wonderful to have everything in one place, I use it everyday and it is my main platform. Almost everything I need downloads and it makes things a lot easier to be able to just log on to one website and see everything I need. Once you get used to the system, it is very easy to use. Use it as a personal lines account manager, every day I check my alerts to see what policies have expired and I use it to check my suspense to see what policies I need to follow up on. product updates have made each step more difficult, requiring more clicks and touches to accomplish the most basic of tasks. Vertafore has moved their focus to the aesthetic look and away from the functionality for end user. AMS 360 is a popular agency management system (AMS) and is by the brokerage that I work for. The key features that we use is policy management. I use it daily for billing, creating certificates and other various acord forms. I always keep a record of all email communications and store policy documents. It has a built in ledger to keep track of all financial transaction. I learned the system very fast on my own without any training and I highly recommend it to anyone in the insurance business. I would like to see an integration with a calling system in which I can track all outgoing and incoming calls relating to the policy.

Please fix the customer search feature. One click. Just a right click on the word customer to open a new tab and find your client... just the way it was before. :)
Also, I would like to be able to attach a document to multiple policies when you APPEND an activity. If my initial activity was attached to multiple policies, and later I have another email or document to attach to that same activity, I would like to attach it once and have it APPEND to all the policy activities that were initially created.
