Managing payroll and HR tasks used to feel like a constant tightrope walk, always worried about missing crucial regulations. Since implementing RUN Powered by ADP, that stress has significantly eased. It's like having a dedicated expert ensuring everything is handled correctly and compliantly – a huge weight off my shoulders!
What I appreciate most about RUN is its comprehensive approach to staying on top of ever-changing regulations. I no longer have to spend countless hours researching updates or worrying about potential penalties. ADP RUN seems to have it all covered, giving me peace of mind and freeing up valuable time to focus on growing my business.
Beyond compliance, the platform offers a fantastic library of templates for various HR needs. These templates are incredibly helpful and well-designed, saving me from having to create documents from scratch. They are easy to use and customize, making HR tasks much more efficient.
Overall, RUN Powered by ADP has been a game-changer for my business. It simplifies complex processes, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides valuable resources like the template library. I highly recommend it to any small business looking for a reliable and comprehensive payroll and HR solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting capabilities are robust, but sometimes generating highly specific or custom reports can take a little extra navigation. Streamlining the custom report creation process could be a nice enhancement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about RUN Powered by ADP is its ease of use and intuitive interface. It makes processing payroll straightforward, even for users who aren’t payroll experts. The automated tax filings, reminders, and compliance updates are extremely helpful and reduce the risk of errors. I also appreciate the employee self-service portal, which allows staff to access their pay stubs and tax documents without needing HR’s involvement, saving time on both ends Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about RUN Powered by ADP is the limited flexibility in generating customized reports. Often, we need to manually adjust exported data in Excel to get the insights we need. Additionally, some features are behind paywalls or require upgrades, which can be frustrating for smaller businesses trying to manage costs. At times, customer support can be slow to respond, especially during peak periods, which delays resolution of time-sensitive issues like payroll errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Run is so easy to navigate through, adding employees and all information necessary for their payroll profiles. Processing is an easy process. Setting up our new account was very successful with follow up along the way and also having an implementation team available for questions. Features are easy to navigate through and the integration from our old payroll company to ADP was amazingly seamless and thorough. I am in payroll everyday so I am accessing the account daily to check time clock entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish I could add customized deduction codes, ie: we do an automatic half hour deduction, I am manually entering this on a daily basis. We don't accrue vacation, PTO, or sick time so again have a deduction code so I could enter on their time sheet would be fantastic. I had both of the features with previous company. The RUN software is very user friendly. When I had questions regarding how to process an owner draw from my business account, the team at ADP was helpful in leading me through the process and ensuring it was done correctly. They are also able to enter your ADP, with your permission, at the same time you are on it, and can lead you through exactly how to do anything in the software in real time. The process for learning how to process an owner draw was difficult, at first, but once they walked me through it, there was no issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP Run is a very thorough platform used for Small Business payroll. With reminders and auto questions regarding past history payroll, it proves to make sure we consider all aspects of our payroll. Omission of paying an employee or irregular pay to high or low in compensation, an alert is provided to consider is some one has been missed or overpaid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is necessary to discuss issues with payroll and you are not provided a designated ADP representative that would be familiar with your operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like best the comprehensive online package. I can do not just the payroll with its related garnishments management, days off tracking, and related reports, but also timekeeping and background checks all from the same website. That is very convenient to have so many connected HR functions but also to do it all with just one login and password. I have a lot of logins and passwords so every one saved by combining functions creates less stress for me.
If we pay extra, there are even more functions I can access on that website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I use technical support, there is sometimes a long wait. And they are not all the same. There was one who did not understand what I needed. I should have reviewed their work before they hung up. However, the next support person was a great listener and got it all fixed perfectly. I also learned I should not sign out of timekeeping until I finish running payroll because signing out of timekeeping logs me out of the whole website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use of the platform and the ability to reach a live person when I have a question.
I also value the webinars and newletters that keep me up-to-date on federal and state regulatory employment changes.
As the business grows, I'm confident ADP has the tools and services we will need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you first start the layout can be a little confusing, especially if you don't have experience with payroll platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP Representatives are there for you to answer questions and help you make changes to your payroll 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!
It is such an easy program to use. If you forget how to do something send an email or call. I use it every week to run payroll, I have used ADP for my HR compliance booklet.
They help you get set up. ADP is easy to set up with QuickBooks, and yes, representatives can help with this, too.
I absolutely Love ADP! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can’t say anything negative. I have NOT found anything I dislike about ADP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about RUN is that my employees get paid timley, accuratley and without it being rocket science. The features in RUN are great, each section of the business has an area that is clear and user friendly. If you are not sure about the section you can check the help section or search bar with ease. Implementing RUN was a breeze with the OTTO onboarding feature. Setting up employees and adding them to payroll is also simple. I use RUN daily not just for payroll but many HR questions. A dislike I have is that sometimes there are long hold times to get to Customer Support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My employees seem to like the ADP interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not thrilled with the timekeeping system. My managers don't receive emails when someone requests time off, which means I have to forward them the emails as the Admin. There doesn't seem to be a great place where my managers can look who else has the day off when approving time off requests.
Also, to add my co-owner to the account, she had to set up a completely different account for access. Which is weird. Why can't I do two things with the same email address and phone number as both an employee and an owner?
Our onboarding process was rushed and as we all know, payroll is one area where everythig has to be completely perfect. Had my expectations been set that it would have taken so long I think I would have felt better about it. We were really coming down to the wire.
The employees I ask questions to don't seem super knowledgable. And I have a lot of questions. That said, they're all wonderfully friendly and polite.
One employee contributes to our 401(k) both for Roth and for pre-tax, and there's no way in the system for her not to get two matches. I don't actually DO two matches, but this means that all of the recordkeeping is incorrect. Surely I can't be the only one with this issue.
All this said, I'm not enthusiastic about doing another switch so I'll stay with ADP for the time being. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
