The ease of processing payroll and having it automated is key for our organization. Using the ADP system instead of hiring a payroll clerk pays for itself every year. The ease of reviewing and accepting payroll is so much better than the system we had before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Support Center is cumbersome. There are too many choices and menus to go through. And when there has been an update with ADP it has affected our Smart Compliance area and some of the reports have come up missing. Also the message center sends alot of emails that aren't necessary right after the payroll processing. It has caused important emails to get "lost" in the maze of unnecessary ones. ADP Workforce now is a great tool combining all of our HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time, & Attendance all in one platform! No more hunting around in different portals everything is right where we want it easy an accessible. Customer support is always there willing to work on any issues. I use it every day as part of my job and love how easy it is to get what I need from it. Implementation was so amazing and fast! We only had a few weeks to get payroll running and ADP implementation team got it done on time! So impressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting is complicated but the field grabber has made it much easier. And with more complicated comes more in depth and useful once you get it figured out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have worked with many payroll systems and ADP is by far the fastest, easiest way to process payroll.
We have the full system features that includes HR + Payroll + Time & Attendance+ Time off.
These features allow employees to clock in and out from their phones, avoiding missed punches, the supervisor notification system helps managers and approvers to keep track of employee hours and timecard errors.
By using the worksheets we can add any supplemental pay like commissions, bonuses, car/auto allowance, cellphone stipend, etc. It makes it so easy and fast to get payroll done, so we can focus on other company duties.
Lastly the time off policy help us keep track off all time off balances, to better help our employees in case of family emergencies, sick time, vacation, maternity leave and more.
In conclusion I believe ADP is a strong system, with all the necessary features to make payroll processing seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes we have little glitches on Time off balances, but we have and internal tracking system for check and balances, so we catch it and is easy to fix in the system.
And this is not a bad thing, but more of a wish, for the trainings to be a little more interactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All of the applications are user friendly but what I like best is the reporting segment. It was definitely several steps up from our previous software. The report grabber makes it easy to create custom reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When using the hire and termination features it would be helpful if there were better descriptions or explanations on the impact of each choice. Although this could be due to lack of training. Sometimes the training videos only tell you what the choice means but not how it will impact the the end result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to navigate throughout the web page. Everything is pretty much self explanatory and if I did need some help or have questions about something, someone is always there for me on ADP's customer service end. There are so many features and tools that I cannot wait to implement in the company. I am excited for my company's future with ADP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I have not had any troubles with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP Workforce Now is easy to use. Everything is in a logical order and easy to navigate. I prefer ADP Workforce now over other payroll systems. Majority of reports can be retrieved in excel which is super helpful. The ability to view the history of data when looking at a specific employee makes obtaining the information quick. Custom Reporting can create just about any report you need. This team is very quick and easy to get through to them when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Amendment process could be easier. Client should be able to speak with an employee on the Amendment Team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like it's ease of usability of Benefits and WFM. It's easy to navigate around and I can be where I need to go in a few clicks. I don't worry about our Open Enrollment anymore because ADP OE specialist is there for you whenever we have little issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer Service can be challenging. I use Chat features more often than anything else. Ticket take time to be answered and I don't have patience for waiting on the phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While using the Bridge you have access to a large number of user guides as well as the ability to speak with other Workforce Now users. ADP Workforce Now also offers great standard reports as well a easy to write custom reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You do not always get a customer service representative that understands your question. It would also be helpful if there was a way to assign customer service representative that do not speak clear english to customers from their same area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful about ADP Workforce Now is the data that is able to be stored. Employe information is stored in easy to find locations-do not have to search for it. Being able to do employee changes in their employment profile is so much more each with the employee change feature. Love having a dedicated customer support team member compared to when we use to have to call in and have to talk to a different person each time.
The upside is that I like being able to do everything in ADP and not have a bunch of different software companies to have to switch back and forth between. Like the Talent module - managers are able to perform their reviews, assign goals and compensation changes.
Also Love ADP Smart Compliance - that all the taxes are taken care of after we receive the tax ID number. We may have to double check on them sometimes - but it is less of a hassle then us having to do it ourselves.
Use ADP very frequently everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-The downside of using ADP is sometimes they will update things - release them and not inform you. You do not find out until go in and see a field has been moved, updated, or removed.
-Sometimes there is a lot of follow up that you need to do when it comes to certain service request tickets you put in, or if it is a new implementation process.
-The 1:1 meeting feature needs updates. The practitioners cannot see anything to be able to help the managers or employees. We cannot also see anything that either of them is putting in there. This should be set up like the performance dashboard. The 1:1 meeting is scheduled with a certain date, but it does not link with outlook calendar - that would be a great update for it to be able to link with outlook calendar.
-We always give product feedback for features that can be better. And have put that we would be willing to be a tester for new features but are not reached out to participate in any of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I went from a position where I was using an older version of Workforce Now and I loved it and had no problems. Then I went to a new position and a new version and it's been a wonderful transition. I get answers faster when I have a problem. It's easier to input data and I believe is quicker to get reports created (that might be just me.) I'm really impressed with the help I get when there's something I can't figure out, I like the patience and the way I'm walked through the procedure. The integrity of the program is always important and I have to say that in either version of Workforce Now that I have used, no data breaches.
I recommend it Highly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In an older version I disliked being on hold for sometimes an hour or more. Some of the overseas workers were not helpful. Some were, though. Watch getting tied into programs you don't want when the salesperson comes to call, but that's pretty normal for any sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP has provided enhancements to our onboarding process, employee engagement, time and attendance processes, and overall HR functionality. The implementation team was wonderful, communicated clearly, and provided lots of updates along the way. We integrate ADP with QuickBooks desktop and that has worked great for us. While technology is ever changing and updates to the system are inevitable, sometimes it seems as soon as you get used to a function it may be gone or changed, sometimes not for the better. Customer support could be improved upon, we would really like one support person that we could contact by email. The current process is submitting a "ticket" within ADP and is not super user friendly to follow the status and response times could be better. In a pinch, the customer support over the phone has been good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
