The WYSIWYG interface is very easy to use and makes designing test simple. Setting up goals help with the evaluation of tests as well. The customer support is very helpful and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be helpful to be able to gather more statistical data from VWO, such as confidence intervals and statistical significance. Better integration with Google Analytics and the ability to import GA goals would be helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The webpage analysis tools like heatmaps and clickmaps have been a great help to improve our conversion rates on the pages. Also, the session recordings have enabled us to see user behaviour on the webpages further complimenting the improvements in CRO, CTA placements, and section sequencing. It has also been helpful in A/B testing, with useful options for targeting users, and ability to analyse results for different targets and user groups. It is also easy to learn and use, and the customer support is very engaging Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI suggestions could have some upgrade to suggest improvements personalized as per the industry and the user behaviour on the webpages, currently the suggestions seem generic, although, not there are also good suggestions which can be implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO Testing stands out for its ease of use—even non-technical team members can quickly set up and launch tests. The implementation process was smooth, with minimal developer involvement needed. It offers a rich feature set, from basic A/B testing to advanced multivariate experiments and personalization. We use it frequently as part of our CRO strategy, and the integration with tools like Google Analytics and GTM was seamless. Overall, it empowers fast experimentation and actionable insights. Some of the more advanced settings are a bit hidden and could be surfaced more clearly. For complex tests, we noticed a slight impact on page load speed. While customer support is generally helpful, response times can lag during peak hours. We’d also appreciate more in-depth documentation around edge-case implementation challenges. VWO gives users a lot of freedom when it comes to the website A/B testing. The UI is intuitive and it is easy to make changes to the website with close to 0 coding knowledge. Analytics, while tricky to set up at times, are a strong side, too. Especially the deeper dive functions like heatmaps. And when there are issues, the VWO team is there to support, replying fast and providing fixes to nearly any issue. I use VWO on daily basis for A/B testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The analytics can be tricky to set up. Also, the library of templates and personalization features could be richer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the new web editor. It allows you to easily preview all changes and make sure all changes are working as expected. It really makes everything faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO Testing is a really powerful tool. I'd make it easy to update scripts that run for all variants, that's the only thing I still find hard to find. I've heard from them that they will improve this issue so it might not be relevant any more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO’s intuitive visual editor makes it incredibly easy to set up A/B tests without needing a developer. The real-time insights and heatmaps help us understand user behavior and optimize pages with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO doesn’t offer early predictive insights like expected improvement or beat probability when traffic is low, which makes it harder to analyze test performance without waiting for statistically significant data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Has been really useful for A/B testing, recordings, heatmaps and surveys. We use VWO every day. The analytics feature is great too. The support team has a very quick response time which is great, especially in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The visual editor is a bit buggy. The code editor has been more dependable so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO allows me to A/B test messaging and imagery on my website, to see which experiments are more likely to lead to inbound conversions. For us, conversions are leads generated, content downloaded, videos viewed and deeper engagement with the site. VWO is simple to implement and has strong customer support. I use the platform weekly and the calls with our CSM are productive. Integrations with Google Analytics and 6sense were straightforward, but then using 6sense data as variables for personalization is not quite as easy. The Heatmaps and Clickmaps features in VWO Insights are very helpful for making decisions about the website layout and design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the platform can be buggy. Heatmaps and clickmaps often don't work or are a challenge to share internally - likely due to the security provisions we have in place on our browsers/devices. Personalization is not as easy to do at scale compared to other platforms; setting up custom variables requires some effort. Simple edits are easy to do in the WYSIWYG editor but more advanced changes require CSS/HTML coding and can be difficult to implement without bugs in how they are displayed. VWO is an easy to use A/B testing platform that allows you to create tests with their simple drag and drop interface.
Of course you could use their code editor for more complex needs or if you have dev resources available to you.
What u really love about them is their support. Mayank, my point of contact is great. He helps me with queries within 24 hours, goes above and beyond in trying to help me set things up and keeps me in check by constantly following up with me on my progress and pipeline for future tests planned.
Their support is their biggest differentiator beyond their innovation and product updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like most A/B testing platforms, there is small impact on site metrics and core web vitals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO offers a wide array of user research and testing features that are designed with ease-of-use as a top priority. Its easy to set up, the toolbox is expansive, the data is easy to digest, and the insights they offer are relevant to any business with an internet presence. The very best of VWO, though, is their staff, who are as friendly as they are driven in their pursuit of our success with their product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am satisfied overall with VWO, but it seems to me that their insights should include complete site traffic analytics, or at least an integration with GA4 that offers cleaned up dashboards to compensate for GA4's low usability. It'd be immensely helpful for my use case (and I imagine many others) to have all that user data under one roof. For a product about understanding user behavior, it seems an oversight to not have this be core feature of the product. The second point I have is that the data/insights from their different tools should be easier to explort/share. PDF's of the heat/click maps would really up their game, and with how usable their toolbox is, I was surprised it was so difficult to share our findings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using VWO's AB Testing tool frequently for a year now and have found that it has empowered our UX team to create AB tests ourselves with minimal technical knowledge. This allowed us to double the number of experiments we would typically run for the year and freed up our web development resources to work on other projects.
Support was always available when required and special thanks to our customer success manager, Vikas, who has always been attentive to our team and has made working with VWO a pleasure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Getting used to the tool was a bit of a learning curve but this was my first experience in using a third party for creating AB tests so I imagine it would be a similar experience with any other competitor. However, support was easy to reach and helped to answer any questions or doubts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
