What do you like best about TravelPerk?

Customer support is AMAZING. These is not an outsources call center but professional travel assistants that can always help with anything or book the trip for be as a travel agent if I prefer that. They are available 24/7 with local numbers in every country, online/mobile chat or email. This gives us a lot of confidence Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TravelPerk?

Hard to say really as me (and the team) really like TravelPerk. When we want to order Airbnb they support it but not through the tool UI, we have to ask the support team to do it manually. Adding Airbnb to the accommodation options in the tool would be great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TravelPerk:

TravelPerk is by far the best solution in the market right now AND IT'S FREE. To be fair, the competition is not impressive to say the least. Most of the leading travel management tools are plain awful and working with travel agents (and no technology) is painful and expensive. As TravelPerk doesn't bind you to a contract and set-up takes literally minutes it's a no brainer, just start and compare with whatever you are using now Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TravelPerk solving and how is that benefiting you?

TravelPerk completely revamped the way we book and manage business travel, with a much better experience to all parties involved. It allowed us as a company get much better visibility and control over travel within the different teams and offices while allowing the travelers much more flexibility and independence in booking our own travel within company policy so everyone is free to do his own thing. Cost saving is also big as TravelPerk is 100% free, including a truly amazing customer support around the clock so I can always contact someone for help before, after or during my trip and they are always ready to help. With previous vendors I worked with we were CHARGED PER EACH CALL TO THE SUPPORT LINE! TravelPerk offers this and everything else for free

Benefits:

1. The tool itself is way better than other corporate tools available. Simple and intuitive UI/UX. Really easy ti set up and use right out of the gates.

2. TravelPerk has a huge inventory, off the charts, including all the flights and hotels we can find on SkyScanner, Expedia, Booking.com etc. so when comparing wit the travel management company we used to work with we get MUCH better rates always (including all the low cost airlines and hotels)

3. The tool is FREE so we are saving everything w used to pay our travel agents and get better service

4. TravelPerk is the single merchant meaning we search in one place ,pay in one place, have all the invoices, confirmations, itineraries, user information in one manageable place. Just tracking down invoices from hotels used to be a big pain

5. Amazing support, around the clock so there is always someone available to solve any changes cancelation etc.

Overall it's a huge upgrade to everything we tried before (travel agents and other corporate booking tools) and it's saving us money as it's free.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TravelPerk?

I love easy to use structure of this software. I can pick train, book hotel, I can note why I want this accomodation, I can see the all approval process or if it is approved or not. ı also logged my personal info, I need to add again and again each time. What do you dislike about TravelPerk?

I would recommend them to add bus option. There is train, flight and car rental but sometimes inside EU for shorter distances among cities, we use big bus firms. It is not possible to pick in TravelPerk, I have to do it manually and expense later. That is only point I advice them to fix. Other than that, I loved it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to ask operations team before or manager, I used to pay and wait a month to take my money in paycheck. What do you like best about TravelPerk?

It is really easy to use. I believe it is also an incredible app to let the work company to deal with travel reservations and expenses. I don't need to worried about scheduling anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There were some changes. I had a lot of problems lately with the reservations. I got rooms reservation as always but now i dont do the reservation for the room, now I need to include how many people are in the room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TravelPerk?

Update: Their team has reached out to me but did nothing to research or respond to any of my issues. I've clarified that the app makes me feel like it's a scam not that TravelPerk is a scam. That's for others to decide.

This app makes you feel like TravelPerk is just a scam. They promote as a digital solution but the app and website barely work. Have to go search airline websites to find what I want and then reach out to customer service to book manually because they don't show those fares. Tons of issues when you arrive at the hotel because the credit card isnt accepted. When you reach out to support the support is slow and their solution is to do everything for you versus fix the app. They are way in over their head and it shows. Just read the reviews of the app on Google Play. Works great for corporate travel managers but just pisses off employees. I've used many travel booking sites and this is the worst ever. What do you like best about TravelPerk?

TravelPerk allows employees of organizations to search for and book business-related transportation (flights, trains, rental cars) as well as accommodations, and to even book it with business payment methods (corporate card) and make it easy on the back-end to have the billing/payment shared with an organization's accounting department. It's a pretty comprehensive business travel solution for organizations with employees that often need to travel domestically or internationally and allows operations people to set cost limits so cost-effective booking is easy for staff. What do you dislike about TravelPerk?

Unfortunately, because TravelPerk does try to do so much, it has several drawbacks to its user interface and particularly the 'Concierge' feature for more complex trip bookings. With Concierge in particular, the customer service representatives often are not able to adequately make the necessary adjustments or reach out to hotel/airline representatives in a timely manner.The approvals process that is required on the backend also causes delays, which means prices or availability for flights, trains, and hotels often changes between a user booking and the actual approval/payment. This lag in timing (and inability of TravelPerk representatives to lock in prices at the time of booking) is a big drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TravelPerk solving and how is that benefiting you?

For my organization, which is international and requires travel on a fairly regular basis, TravelPerk allows our operations and accounting a straightforward means to manage the expenses and costs of employee travel. On the user end, it also allows us as employees to book work travel on corporate payment methods without having to provide out of pocket costs, and allows users to do all of the booking (transport and accommodations) in one interface and streamlines our ability to know what trip options fit within company policies and budgets. TravelPerk - despite its UX and process-related shortcomings - ultimately aims to save time for employees and companies and increase the convenience of work-related travel logistics. What do you like best about TravelPerk?

The integration into the company travel plans is complete enough for me to make confident decisions regarding my business travel. Reservations made by my colleagues are visible to me, so there is less back and forth on confirming details with one another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I haven't found any issues so far. I used to notice that the trains were not up to date with the DB Website, but I have not had this issue in a long time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coordination between my colleagues, including those from departments, with whom I only have contact during business travel. The approved budget is extremely helpful to filter with. What do you like best about TravelPerk?

TravelPerk emerged as an unexpectedly vital solution for our needs. As we endeavored to streamline our business credit cards, transitioning to Divvy (now Bill Spend & Expense), integrating TravelPerk proved effortlessly seamless. Notably, TravelPerk seamlessly integrates, enabling the accumulation of points redeemable for travel credits. The implementation phase was remarkably smooth, and as a result, all our travel bookings now exclusively run through TravelPerk. This platform consolidates comprehensive travel information in one convenient location, encompassing details like flights, lodging, and car rentals for anyone on the move. What do you dislike about TravelPerk?

We've encountered a few instances where our preferred lodging or airfare options weren't available through TravelPerk. Additionally, when booking through the platform, the absence of an option to secure refundable flights has posed a challenge. Consequently, we've had to resort to cancellations, receiving credits with various airlines instead. Having all of our travel information on one platform for our employees has been very convenient. Instead of having to download different apps or search for confirmation numbers through emails, they are all in one place. It also allows our travel booker to not have to shop around and it is all on one platform. Things couldn't be easier. It ensures you enjoy your sojourn less the pain of planning and keeping tabs. It's loaded with features and functions that help manage your trip from home to there. Implementing it and getting everyone to understand and fully utilize the system was initially a challenge, but we overcame that. Otherwise we've come to find it easy-to-use, intuitive, easy-to-integrate with. Its customer support is always awesome. Its options always tops!
