I started my social media brand marketing career in 2018 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and it's been the same social media management software I've used since then. I moved to MGMRI in 2021 and they used the same software, making my transition seamless. I believe it is the best social media software for large businesses, especially for social care and reporting. Social media managers have the widest variety of job duties: from customer care to content conception, creation, strategy and analysis. MGMRI is a large enterprise and we have A TON of content in SAM and Social Care. It can run slow and feel clunky at times, but no software is perfect. We use monday.com for calendar planning and project management, I do wish Sprinklr and monday.com could integrate so the content planning, review process and scheduling process was less duplicative. you need to have all of the modules in order to have a seamless experience. You have to become an expert user to really know what data you are actually getting/not getting. The "analyze" reporting doesn't have AI like the listening module does. So you can't easily use AI to tell you how your content is performing in the Sprinklr social module.

It is a rather technical tool, and it takes a while to get the hang of it. Setting up some workflows such as naming conventions and tags require a bit of thought and time, before they can be effectively used in reporting and filtering. I also still struggle with some metrics, especially when I want to see omnichannel reports, as the metric definitions per channel vary, and to see omnichannel data usually requires me to create a custom metric. I tend to use custom metrics also because sometimes when searching for metrics, the Sprinklr search function doesn't show all the metrics unless it is written exactly in the format as it appears on the platform, so that requires some back and forth between the platform and Sprinklr. The learning curve is steep and you have to really take the time to learn the intricacies of the platform. When onboarding multiple teams into the platform, it helps to have your ways of working defined well before you get into the tool, because there's a lot of wayfinding that end users will need to do once they get into the actual interface if they're not super savvy tech users.

I don't like that it's supposed to be integrated with Threads but it doesn't work. I don't like that we don't have a dedicated person to support us. Customer support takes a long time to get back.
