31 Spreedly Reviews
When our company started having issues with Stripe we switched to Spreedly knowing that we can transition to a new payment solution without losing the customer payment data. The process was smooth, the migration of data was quick. Definitely very happy with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stripe requires for a start-up of our size to submit a SAQ unless we are working with ta partner that satisfies their requirements. Spreedly is such a partner and has provided an AOC to us but unfortunatelly Stripe still mandes that we do a SAQ. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the intuitive design and the straightforward user interface at the beginning. It made the initial setup and early usage very smooth and accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As I delved deeper into using the platform, I encountered some complexities that made navigation and utilization less intuitive than at the onset. The features, while robust, can sometimes be overwhelming to integrate seamlessly without frequent consultation of help resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spreedly takes care of all the complexities around integrating different payment processors to handle credit card and other types of payments. It also helps with many aspects of PCI compliance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the complexity of their platform that handles dozens of integrations with multiple types of payment processors, any specific change or gateway specific updates can take a while to be implemented and released. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- How easy is to create dashboards to track transactional performance
- it simplifies the way an integration is performed by using their different tools, also this comes with a clear documentation to handle the implementation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- it lacks some of the main payment providers as well as payment methods in latam
- in some of the PSPs it lacks of support on all the operations/features provided by the PSP under a direct integration, for example through spreedly you could use sale and refund while directly you could use authorize, capture, void plus the ones mentioned before Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spreedly gives the ability to access hundreds of major gateways, so you just need to do one integration with Spreedly and your clients would be able to select any supported gateway of their preference. In this way, we avoid direct integration with the individual gateways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is hard to track the latest updates from each gateway since we are integrated through Spreedly. A couple of times we won't know something has changed until it hits production, and we need to fix it after the fact. We would really appreciate it if we could be given early notice and enough time for changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The API is simple and easy to use, and it does not enforce complex requirements on our purchase process. We can make use of Spreedly's API and documentation quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If it were possible to know more about payment decline reasons, it would be wonderful to have more information. Unfortunately some banks don't provide useful reasons for why a payment was declined and it's often challenging to help customers with complex banking issues. They are willing to explain and teach business users about the core concepts of payments and payment gateways, as well as offer suggestions on getting started - even if that's not with them at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly can't think of many downsides - that they even offered a roadmap that didn't include them at the start was amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
