Sisense user interface for the final user (viewer or designer) is really simple and intuitive for the most common needs. It is really customizable, but also embeddable in your solution .

Sisense's support is always available and usually provide feedback in short time.

Sometime it's not immediate for the designer to understand what is the path that sisense is usign to provide an answer (draw a chart or create a table), that could require some "hint" in the expressions to force it to use the right structures, but it depends on the complexity of your datamodel. I think it is an acceptable compromise when you use a software that is not requiring you to write the query needed to get data, regardless how complex is your datamodel. Sisense offers developers an intuitive interface. Building models (live and elastic) is easy and straightforward. Basic capabilities are easy to learn and adapt. There is a range of widgets to choose from. I'm personally a fan of Blox given its versatility.

We struggled integrating it with Slack. Some of the basic widget customisations need custom scripting (if it is a frequently requested feature/capability the team strives to add it in the upcoming product releases, which is good). Having to purchase addons from third-party vendors for basic features is not ideal.

I like how easy it is to use, even for newbies. The drag-and-drop functionality makes creating dashboards simple, and it integrates well with tools like Salesforce and SQL. sometimes it’s slow when working with large datasets, which can be frustrating. Also, using BloX for customization can be tricky at first, and the documentation could be clearer. Sisense is an excellent Bi Tool. We use it to integrate data from Different sources. In addition to ElastiCube based, It’s capability to generated report from online source is excellent.

What I like most about Sisense is their support system. They have support across the time zones. Unless it is urgent, I like to get support in the evening when I do not have to do other things. Someone will be there to help and resolve issues quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sisense’s learning curve is stip. However, Sisense provides excellent self-learning resources. They are available to give demonstrations of any of the functionalities of Sisense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that Sisense can be installed locally or in the cloud makes it a great BI option to use and share complex reports and dashbaords with clients. The vast number of free and paid plugin add more features and funcionalities and integrations to the tool. For being a web tool, the performance sometimes can be an issue as well as debugging or finding the root cause for an error. Sometimes it's solved by just refreshing the page, other times I need to contact the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sisense provides an enterprise way to consolidate, transform and visualize your data without losing collaboration activity and drill down into details. It is the most business ready solution out there in the market and that is after comparing it to Power BI and Tableau. In addition to the basic use of Sisense they have added the AI analysis of data that really allows users to focus on what the data is telling them vs in dealing with the data. With its efforts in making it easy to install and easy to use, Sisense has kept its ability to extend and provide custom interfaces via modules which are simple to create to make a true solution that fits any company. It has been amazing how we have been able to integrate Sisense across a large number of our data sources thus correlating many of our activities and bringing even more value to our day to day work. Earlier versions were difficult to install but they have corrected much of that with their latest 2023 releases. I like that we have easy to apply updates. Some of their best support folks are overseas so there have been some late night sessions with them but they are very dedicated and driven to get to a solution. They have improved their support system and appreciate their turn around times which are much better but still more work on getting information here. Still find a few bad instructions on their docuementation but have seen work done there too. There are so many variables in installing Sisense that you need to make sure you are looking at the right version with the right OS and it is hard to see what things apply to both versions MS vs Linux.
