Email blasts are among the most annoying forms of communication in the world. Everyone wants to ignore your generic email and send it to spam. With Cadence, I can send out ~1,200 weekly emails that are personalized, organized, and above all: won't be sent straight to spam. I can organize my contacts into different cadences based on industry or size and send out messages that I know will be effective (Because of the analytics cadence has given me on previous messages I've sent out.
And it's not just for prospecting and reaching out. This Thanksgiving, we wanted to send out a one-off email to some of our loyal customers. Instead of wondering how, we just exported them straight from our CRM into Cadence and within 5 minutes we had them sending out. It's a great way to reach large amounts of people with customized messages and zero hassle.
When I'm in my Gmail inbox and someone tells me they are in a busy quarter and want me to circle back in a few months, I don't need to worry about checking in on them, one click and without leaving Gmail I have a reminder that will appear when the person wants me to circle back.
Overall, the core functionalities are very strong, and the small details make it an even more impressive tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no core functionalities that I think Cadence lacks. My dislikes are details that will most likely eventually be fixed.
-You can sort people by "In office" but not by time zone. This would be extremely helpful and something that frustrates me almost daily.
-As an administrator, I should be able to send emails and activate cadences for my team without having to log out of my account and into theirs. A simple one-off email that I want to come from another team member is a small hassle, despite them having an active account and giving me permission.
-Formatting can be painful, you can't copy-paste text without messing something else in the template up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

• The UI/UX is pretty appealing, I'll give them that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
• First tool I've used in my tech stack with an extension goes "stale" you have to refresh all CRM and Salesloft related tabs in your browser to pull updates within the extension.
• A handful of features don't work properly (inbound calls, task reminders, data connectivity between apps (CRM, Sales Nav)
• Data updates like contact information sometimes does not update
• Analytics/metrics are faulty like email opens
• Lack of dynamic fields that i've seen in other dialers (i.e., more than 3 phone number/email fields, ability to mark numbers or emails as valid or invalid out of the box)
• Dialer is often slow at launching when making calls
• Browser extensions lack features and are bulky Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love using Salesloft because it allows me to start work everyday with a clear path of the tasks I need to get done. I love the Rhythm tab on Salesloft. It helps me decide which tasks I should prioritize. It is very user friendly, it was easy for me to learn initially and easy to navigate. Customer support responds quickly when I have an issue. It integrates with Salesforce and Lusha seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes my cadences and rhythm can get disorganized. Incoming occasionally do not ring or notify me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their native Saleforce integration is mediocre, but the competition has caught up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been a Salesloft customer for 3 years, things started out well but they never updated features or technology in that entire period. Outbound email best practices are not possible with Salesloft and it will ensure poor email deliverability, limited campaign options, and a lack of integrations to new sales tech
Worst of all was my customer service experience. I noticed an annual auto renewal hit my credit card and informed their billing and customer service immediately that I did not plan to renew and that I would like a refund. They refused completely and wouldn’t compromise in any way. They referenced an email about billing that went to my spam, this info in inaccessible on their platform, and they felt completely entitled to keep all of my annual fee.
Stay far away from Salesloft! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is probably to date, the best outreach tool that i've used.
Has so many filtering capabilities based on what you are looking for from the people you have reached out to.
If you are an organized seller, you can really take advantage of the workflows that it provides in terms of contact filtration and making good lists from the data you have in the tool.
It has a decent learning curve for the advanced workflows but is an absolute game changer once you know how to use it to your advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- I wish it had a little more fine grained filtering options for certain tabs that it currently does not have.
- Frequently, caller ID appears as "Scam Likely" on prospects phones. From what i've heard, Phoneburner doesn't have this issue.
- Texting is not seamless and is very manual when reaching out to prospects.
- Dropping voicemails has a delay and some of the messaging in the dropped voicemail gets lost.
- Would be great if there was a way to automatically drop the voicemail for you not having to toggle in after every dial ending. Would make the workflow much superior to how it is currently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SalesLoft has some cool intelligence for pipeline, calls, tonality of emails, and getting through tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It needs more updates to at least compete against Outreach. Outreach was easier in a way of tracking cadences by how many meetings/opps are created from it.
A lot of our reports do not work well with SL. Overall there needs some work done on the backend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Salesloft makes outreach timely, user friendly, personalized and collaborative. I've used Salesloft for three years as a BDR and I can confidently say it is a must have tool to drive business. Salesloft seemlessly integrates with Salesforce, provides personalized short cuts to make persoanlized outreach simplisitic, and the completely customizable cadences allow for sharing across all users. I also enjoy Salesloft's converstions tab to review prior calls, It gives a quick summary, talk ratio and helpful insights to improve my call quality and ensure I am focusing more on my customer. I spend my entire day in Salesloft and rely on the day reminders for calls/emails to keep me exceeding and meeting my KPIs. I highly recommend Salesloft to all business development teams. I wish there were design layouts and more ways to personalize the look of the email on Salesloft. This is something our marketing team would like to integrate into our emails as we have a common template that is used across all other outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I absolutely love cadences and how easy it is to create them for targeted use and consistent messaging. I'm not the most organized person, so ensuring I am making outreaches with proper spacing and messaging is amazing. Being able to listen back to my calls was something I never thought would be so valuable from both a info perspective but also from a coaching perspective. The analytics is just the right amount showing you how your efforts stack up against your peers. Insight into cadence performance such as number of views, clicks or replies along with which prospects are showing interest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that you can view by email, call, notes etc., but I wish it were easier to add an additional filter of call sentiment or disposition. With emails, I wish I could filter for those with replies only so I don't have to scroll through years of reps sending un-answered emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like everything about this product, from the very simple UI to a feature-rich experience. It is truly a game-changer for me. My favourite features are the ability to connect it with Salesforce CRM and the easy process of scheduling the cadence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like this product a lot, but I believe the email template can be improved; they feel outdated now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like to build cadences and I get to decide how to use them. It's efficient and very user friendly. It connects well with our other tools too. Makes me be able to stay organized and get emails out in a timely manner and organize how I prospect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have a negative. Sometimes it can be glitchy or slow when lots of emails are going out...but that's to be expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cadences work great and the AI they've built into their templates is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super clunky to set up. Conversations doesn't work at all. They sell it as a gong competitor. It doesn't even have the functionality of Zoom.
Their customer service is horrible. My company has been trying to get in touch with someone there for over 5 months with no response. Their online customer service ticketing automatically closes the case after 48 hours, regardless of if they have responded to your initial request or not. Its no wonder they continue to lose market share to top competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
