What do you like best about Piwik PRO?
The product suite includes separate products, which are really great products on their own.
Close to no free tag manager products currently exist, but this product suite has it own tag manager includes, and quite a nice one at that.
The analytics product serves as a nice all-round web analytics foundation, which would probably fit nicely with most companies needs.
The entire suite of products are getting regular updates, and is therefore growing into a more and more feature rich and stable selection of products in its own right.
I would recommend any small and medium size European company to have a look at Piwik PRO, if they are looking for an alternative to Google Analytics, which originates from Europe, but also adheres to European privacy and compliance laws like GDPR.

What do you dislike about Piwik PRO?
To me, way to much effort has been used to include features like in Google Analytics (Universal Analytics).
A great suite of products like this should not be built as a copy of something else, but should be built as it's own thing, for it to excel "on its own". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Piwik PRO?
I took a look at the many options, did some actual testing, and chose Piwik Pro because:
1. Looks and works a lot like GA3/Universal Analytics. Perhaps more importantly, its numbers were consistently with +/- 5% of GA3.
2. Has its own tag manager but can also work through GTM.
3. Built in consent manager if you need it.
4. Free up to 500,000 hits/events per month.
5. The real-time tracker/debugger makes it easy to troubleshoot issues and verify tag changes.

What do you dislike about Piwik PRO?

While Piwik PRO covers most essential analytics needs very well, the range of third-party integrations is still somewhat limited compared to giants like Google. Advanced reporting (like cohort analysis or custom attribution modeling) can sometimes feel less flexible without additional configuration. Its sensible, well thought out, high quality implementation. The reporting UI is rock solid. The suite of tools are all tightly integrated - analytics, CMP, TMS, CDP

Currently, Piwik PRO is my favourite tool for web analytics to replace Google Analytics. It is easy to use and understand, marketers don't necessarily need analysts' help for everything. What do you dislike about Piwik PRO?
Piwik PRO is still very web oriented -- I probably wouldn't choose it as analytics tools for a mobile app or product analytics of a SaaS tool. It certainly can be used for those purposes, but some other tool might be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
