We have been using Paubox for 3+ years and recommend it to all who need HIPAA compliant email systems as they have an easy way to setup complete encryption on emails. There have been times that new products they release have not worked flawlessly when they startup, but they have always been resolved quickly. Paubox is another point of email breaking down, so there have been times our team has had email delays, but this is true to any additional product on top of Google Workspace. Paubox' customer support makes it so easy to integrate . I love it that if I am having any problems with sending and receiving emails from my business email, someone from Paubox is there to figure it out. I am a therapist, not a tech person. Figuring out DNS records is not in my wheelhouse. With Paubox, help is only an email away. Further, they are happy to hop onto a zoom meeting to walk me through any needed changes to hosting records. I love that when using Paubox I don't have to do too much extra in order to get my email to be compliant for our industry standards. Once it is hooked up, it is totally set in and forget it. Paubox is great. As a medical practice, it was previously very cumbersome for our patients to use messaging that required logging in to a separate portal, or using Gmail confidential mode. Sometimes the encryption fails due to no-reply type of emails - it would be nice if there was a way for the encryption to not apply as we have an auto-reply set up on Google Workspace which triggers encryption, which triggers failure and multiple emails about the failure.
