It can Manage large volumes of data in a structured and accessible way cespecially when dealing with multiple data sources or complex datasets.

Also, it allows to organize data into rows, columns, and sheets, making it easy to store, sort, and filter information. What do you like best about Microsoft Excel?

Being an Excel user for decades now and using it in mostly everwhere. Excel became a life saviour for those who works with data regularly. As a employ with own business aside it helps me to cop up with both the datas. And makes it super easy to work with . The sorting, importing and integration with other softwares make it the best for data handeling. I used to integrate it with decisionrules, mailchimp and with many other softwares and the whole functioning is so smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?

What do you like best about Microsoft Excel?

Excel is very useful for storing small amounts of data. We can save data in many formats, such as CSV and others. I have been using it for the last 4 years, and it is easy to manipulate data using functions like Vlookup, Pivo Table & Power Query. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?

What I dislike about Excel is that it has a limited number of rows and columns. We can't store large amounts of data in it otherwise it starts to lag and doesn't work properly. It is not suitable for storing big data, as large datasets come with big file sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have used many other platforms for analyzing data, but I usually pull the output into Excel and Spreadsheets & share the file with stakeholders as a report. Most of the time, I use Excel to create reports, utilizing multiple sheets to store multiple tables and using lookup functions to reference the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?

- macros and some plug in may unable to be used in MacOS

- multiple opened complex and huge file may create a crash or make the software run slow even with great PC spec Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you?

as metallurgical engineer for extraction process, creating heat and mass balance is a must. but using a specific simulation and calculation software for heat and mass flow will inflict a high cost and some client don't have any of those software so they may unable to open it. creating heat and mass balance in excel may take time (longer of course) and we need to create every step manually but the result is still good and it is common software that widely use/own by my client Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Excel?

Performing spelling checking reviewing is cumbersome and may cause the final spreadsheet to have typo and grammar issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Excel solving and how is that benefiting you?

I typically use Microsoft Excel to generate bulk posters for campaigns or projects through Canva. The process involves creating a spreadsheet (CSV file) with multiple variations of the poster content, where each row contains a unique message, headline, or other text elements for the posters. After preparing this CSV file, I upload it to Canva’s bulk creation feature, which automates the process of generating numerous posters at once. Canva automatically inserts the unique messages into pre-designed poster templates, creating a set of posters, each with different content but a consistent design.

This approach saves time and ensures consistency across a large number of posters, making it ideal for producing visuals for events, marketing campaigns, or educational materials. By using Excel for the initial data entry and Canva for the design, I can efficiently manage large-scale poster production with personalized or varied messaging.
