The MediaValet Digital Asset Management (DAM) system has allowed our company to easily archive, organize, search, sort and share our library of image assets for dramatic improvements in accessibility and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Looking forward to a few updates in the lightbox functionality - I'd love to be able to publicly share a lightbox without needing to email individual links to unregistered users. If a co-worker without a MediaValet account needs to share a lightbox with a client, it becomes challenging to share links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our sales team has complete access to all of our marketimng collateral right from their phones and can e mail directly to their customers. We keep everything from drawings, specifications, photos, brochures, animations and powerpoint presentations on the platform. It is extremely easy to start using and implementation was a breeze. It is used by our team daily. As an administraor I enjoy the fact that customer support is excellent and we recently used the bulk uploader tool that really sped up the process of adding large numbers of documents to the portal. There is nothing about Media Valet I dislike. The screens are clean and easy to use. The menu tree on the left is basic and self explanatory. Some users may feel it could be a bit more "flashy" but that is not a concern for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I represent a member organization with affiliated chapters. A high volume of digital assets need to change hands frequently, so I appreciate the ease with which we can ensure we are all using the correct files. Additionally, we are finding ways to share resources with our members using web galleries and branded portals — they don't need to have access to the back end but the interface provides a very clean and organized method of file sharing. I think the one thing I'd appreciate is if there were an automatic way to flag duplicate files. But even that is not a dealbreaker for me! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone that uses MediaValet very frequnetly, we've been incredibly impressed with MediaValet as our digital asset management solution. The platform is intuitive, user friendly, and has significantly improved how we organize, access, and share content across departments. We no longer spend hours through folders or tracking down assets, it's been a huge time saver, and was so easy to implement for our team and integrate across departments.
One of our most-used features is the search functionality. Even when our team isn't sure of the exact file name, MediaValet consistently delivers the right results. It’s been a game-changer for version control and brand consistency, especially when collaborating across different teams or external partners.
MediaValet is an invaluable tool for any organization that relies on consistent, scalable digital asset management. The ability to break down content by themes has significantly improved our day-to-day.
Their customer support has been helpful with onboarding and give us peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly have not come across any issues, or things that I dislike about MediaValet. It's been incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As both a user and administrator, MediaValet is a great tool for organizing a high volume of assets spanning from photos, b-roll, produced videos and designed collateral. If you put in the work to organize and tag well, it is easily searchable and relatively easy to share individual or groups of assets. I use this tool at least once a week. Uploading and approving assets can be time consuming, particularly if uploaders haven't entered categorization and tagging information correctly. And if you don't have a well structured and enforced folder structure, tagging rules, etc., it is easy for the space to get unwieldy quickly. So the tool itself is great but it requires good internal management mechanisms as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MediaValet offers a range of great features. The intuitive cataloguing system is easy to manage, even for less tech-savvy users, ensuring they can find what they need effortlessly. We frequently use the lightbox and branded portal features to share collateral without granting access to the entire library. I use the site every day, whether accessing files or managing user access, and I find it to be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The effectiveness of the search function heavily depends on users inputting keywords and naming files with a clear system. While this challenge isn't unique to MediaValet, it is an important consideration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, the best thing about MediaValet is how everything is organized and accessible. At our company, there are a lot of pictures from different events. The categories and folders makes it really easy to access and find what you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A nice to have would be more powerful search! Slap on facial recognition and let us search for a particular face across the entire media library! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of finding and downloading images. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have some issues with access sometimes but it's usually an internal thing with users not being in the correct groups in AD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The first thing I like the most about MediaValet is that it's searching is actually good. You can search for assets by keyword, file type, date, file name, etc. It's easy to combine multiple search criteria to find exactly the file and version you're looking for.
I use it frequently to share files with people outside the organization who don't need a login to download.
Also, since a recent update, MediaVale is perfectly usable on the go from mobile browsers, so I can always retrive what I'm looking for without having to pull out my laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The less favorable aspect of MediaValet until recently was it's lack of a mobile-friendly version, but that has already been fixed. Currenltly, I cannot think of some other aspect that really needs an improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The MediaValet interface is highly intuitive, making it exceptionally easy to navigate and use, even for new users. Its design allows users to quickly locate and manage digital assets without a steep learning curve. During the migration process, MediaValet provided outstanding support, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring a seamless transition. The team promptly addressed all our inquiries, offering clear and helpful guidance while actively assisting us through every stage of the migration, instilling confidence in their service. The tool has become an indispensable part of my daily workflow, streamlining tasks and boosting productivity, and is equally valuable to many of my colleagues who rely on it to manage and access critical resources efficiently. One notable drawback pertains to the process of file replacement. Currently, files must be replaced individually, which can be laborious, particularly when dealing with multiple files simultaneously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
