What do you like best about Impartner PRM?

Impartner offers a ton of flexibility when it comes to building an effective and scalable Partner Portal. The tool is easy to use. Between native functions and the customization options there is a ton of possibility to make your portal a one-stop shop for Partners. Also the team at Impartner are very helpful and responsive. Our Customer Success rep Shad has been great and our previous rep April was fantastic as well. They are great at making sure the right resources and experts are available to us. What do you dislike about Impartner PRM?

Some of the LMS functions could be more robust. Particularly when it comes to video training engagement validation and quiz making limitations. Some of these things could be potential quick wins for Impartner and could be considered personal preference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Impartner PRM?

Our partners had to go to a million different places to find the resources they need. Now they have a user-friendly, one stop shop for all the things they need from training, assets, deal registration, etc.

The whole Impartner team has been incredible. Shad C, Dustin D, Ben S, Kirby have all been such valuable resources for our team answering our questions, brainstorming ideas, and our calls are fun. I understand that's not "techy" but I believe the people you work with at your software vendor are just as important as the software itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Impartner PRM?

Not being able to sync attachments or add them to workflows is a minor roadblock we've run into. Luckily we've been able to build workarounds and the impartner team is always willing to hop on a call to brainstorm and implement ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Impartner PRM?

I wish Impartner PRM offered customer-facing dashboards that would empower our partners to monitor their team's progress in completing required training and journeys. This feature would provide valuable transparency and enhance partner engagement.

Additionally, setting up workflows in Impartner can be quite challenging. We frequently need assistance from our Implementation Specialist, Client Success Manager, or Development teams to create or modify workflows, which can slow down implementation and limit our ability to make quick adjustments. Impartner became the foundation for building our partner program. Our Implementation Specialist, Eva, was instrumental in getting us started. She guided us through the setup process and helped us define the key elements of our program, ensuring we had a solid foundation from the beginning.

After the launch, our Client Success Manager, Prue, stepped in to help us refine and maintain the portal as our goals and vision for the program evolved. In every touchpoint meeting, Prue reviews our portal and provides thoughtful suggestions for enhancements and training opportunities. Thanks to her ongoing support, we now have a comprehensive partner program that aligns with our objectives and equips our partners with the tools and resources they need to succeed. What do you like best about Impartner PRM?

The logical structure of the platform. It is very easy to categorise assets or incentives for partners. Also is customisable if required, however, the out of the box fucntionality is excellent. The support team is very knowledgeable and keen to help. The implementation whilst lengthy was very thorough and our instance was complex, very knowledgeable team. Integration with SFDC is seamless. What do you like best about Impartner PRM?

With Impartner PRM you have a lot of flexibility in terms of the partner experience user interface, how to configure the PRM and it's integration with other applications. With it's segmentation capabilities you can also create unique partner experiences for different types of partners or partner programs. We worked with one of their implementation partners, PartnerPath, which really set us up for success. We were just launching a partner program when we began using Impartner and as our program has matured, the PRM has been able to grow and scale with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Impartner PRM?

For some of the newer functionality (like TCMA), we have to work directly with the Impartner team to be able to develop and get this functionality live within our partner portal vs. being able to do it exclusively on our own through the PX Studio which we can do with most other functionality within the PRM. Impartner PRM is really our single place for our partners to go to complete onboarding as well as ongoing training/certifications; get marketing, selling and product documention as well as co-brand assets; run marketing campaigns and submit for MDF; register their deals and manage their pipeline; submit product roadmap ideas; get the latest and greatest updates on our partner program and more. What do you like best about Impartner PRM?

Workflows is a really powerful feature - you can do quite sophisticated communications using workflows.

They offer a variety of ways to reach out to partners - system notifications, marketing campaigns, push notifications

The platform is technically stable and supports high levels of complexity (multi-langue, multi-tier). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Impartner PRM?

If you want to use their marketing tools (marketing view, news on demand) you will need to do a lot of manual work in maintaining the subscription information as these systems do not have a two-way integration with PRM.

And they are not integrated with each other either, so you have to constantly update information in each system (unsubscribed, hard bounces).

Not being integrated with their marketing tools, you cannot do proper reporting on partner engagement with marketing (only on engagement within the platform). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Impartner PRM is its seamless integration with our CRM, particularly the native integration with HubSpot. The implementation process—both for the initial setup and subsequent module additions—has been incredibly smooth and straightforward. The onboarding team has been incredibly helpful, ensuring a smooth transition and setup. Additionally, the customer success team is highly supportive and responsive, always ready to assist with any questions or customization needs.

The platform's customization options are extensive, allowing us to tailor workflows and journeys that streamline onboarding and other operational processes. The segmentation feature is intuitive and enables us to differentiate content based on various partner types easily. If you’re looking to make a real difference in your team or division, start with an Impartner module that’ll have the biggest impact on your business. Once you've nailed that, you can easily branch out to build a more complete partner ecosystem.

Impartner enables you to digitize manual processes and set up automated workflows that you can manage independently. Additionally, partners can access and update their own company and profile information, keeping the system up to date Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Impartner PRM?

While setting up workflows in Impartner is straightforward, managing and organizing them can be a bit limited. Currently, the main way to keep things organized is by using keywords in workflow names, which works but could be enhanced with options for grouping and custom columns for better filtering.

For ongoing improvements, especially with updates to partner programs, it’s helpful to have a Sales Operations team member who’s comfortable configuring both your CRM and Impartner. Impartner PRM solves several key challenges by fully digitizing partner onboarding, including automating follow-ups and creating SSO credentials with privilege management, all synced with Salesforce. This streamlines onboarding and ensures data accuracy.

The self-service CPQ feature simplifies deal registration, allowing partners to track and manage sales opportunities that automatically sync to Salesforce and notify account owners, improving visibility and response times.

The Partner Locator highlights each partner’s experience and training with specific products or services, making it easier for customers to find qualified partners and promoting accountability among partners.

With the MDF module, partners can independently apply for marketing development funds, giving them more control over their marketing initiatives.
