What do you like best about Guidebook?

Guidebook is great platform that we use to connect with our students. Its helpful to have all necessary information for them in one place we can refer them to.

All different tabs help to break down topics they need to know about i.e campus info, accommodation, visas, resources etc.

People find it easy to use as well which is great.

We ve been using it for the last few years now.

What do you dislike about Guidebook?

Having different teams accross the world that dont communicate with each other. It took us almost two months to sort out the annual payment, communication was between Ireland/USA/UK Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Guidebook?

We’ve loved using Guidebook to support our Sage Leadership Festival experience. The app offers a thoughtful balance of functionality and simplicity—it’s lightweight on attendees’ phones, yet packed with powerful, interactive features that help bring our event to life.

One of our favorite aspects is how customizable and robust the content management tools are. We were able to share everything from agendas to speaker bios to venue maps in a clean, user-friendly format. The ability to make real-time updates—right from mobile—gave us flexibility and peace of mind throughout the event.

Attendees enjoyed the interactive elements, and our team appreciated how intuitive the back-end was to navigate. Guidebook made it easy to create a cohesive, polished experience that truly elevated our festival.

What do you dislike about Guidebook?

While our overall experience with Guidebook was overwhelmingly positive, we did encounter a few challenges worth noting.

Creating custom schedules for attendees proved a bit complex and time-consuming on the back end. While the functionality is there, the setup process isn’t as intuitive as other parts of the platform.

Additionally, we experienced an app-wide issue during the event when attendees tried to access the networking feature to connect with one another—the app crashed consistently, limiting engagement in that section. We understand that occasional glitches happen, but this was a key feature for our audience, and we hope to see improvements in future versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Guidebook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Guidebook helps us deliver a seamless, centralized experience for our event attendees. It’s our one-stop shop for everything they need to know—without the hassle of bulky printed materials. From real-time updates to venue info and personalized agendas, all the details are at their fingertips.

One of the features we value most is the ability to keep information current throughout the event. If something changes, we can update it instantly—no reprints or confusion. What do you like best about Guidebook?

It is very user friendly and easy to use. I like that they are affordable compared to other competitors and does not charged based on number of attendees, exhibitors or company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guidebook?

I think the requesting a meeting is a bit difficult and the user has a hard time knowing they got a meeting request until they look at the agenda. I wish the notifications were more noticeable especially when someone sends you a request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Guidebook?

I've been using it for years, so I'm pretty familiar with it, how to uploads items, how to make changes. It's easy to make changes and push out an update at the last minute, such as when a speaker cancels. For users, once they download the app, it's pretty user friendly. What do you dislike about Guidebook?

I prefer the metered guide, since it is much more affordable for my small meeting. Guidebook offered me a discount to help transition to the new pricing structure, but I suspect I'll have to find a less expensive alternative going forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Guidebook?

Easy to use and update! Our guests and lecturers really seemed to like the platform, and I was happy with the options that were available (ex. adding photo albums, maps, schedules, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guidebook?

There are a few user experience things that took some figuring out, but overall I had a positive experience. Unfortunately they changed their subscription types part way through setting up our guide that caused a small publication snag. The change was a little disappointing because in previous years we were able to use a year round guide for the price we paid, but they changed it to a 90-day guide. What do you like best about Guidebook?

The most helpful feature of Guidebook is that it offers a plethora of tools that helps to support our intern programming opportunities and events. It also is a great tool and platform for our interns to connect ahead of the internship program. What do you like best about Guidebook?

Guidebook is easy to get used to building within as a first time user, especially if you are using templates. If you do get stuck, there is a wealth of help online on their website and the customer service is very proactive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guidebook?

So far you cannot directly replicate the app as an online version. This is unhelpful in terms of accessibility for things like screen readers etc. In addition to that, you are only able to upload files as PDFs. This means users cannot download something like a template and use it for their own purposes - we would have to create a dropbox or cloud link and get the raw document to them like that. What do you like best about Guidebook?

What I like most about guidebook is the UI is pretty simple to understand. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you get the idea of what you're looking for, the app is simple to use throughout a long event. I would say sometimes the app would not be ready for such a big event so when we are using it, it takes about 20 minutes for us to be able to log people in and use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I loved how easy Guidebook made it to create and customize our event app. The user-friendly interface let me update schedules and content on the fly, and attendees appreciated having everything in one place.
