
The products ease of use is what we love the most about the FreshTeam. It was quick and intuitive for the team to input and organize our candidate’s information. The Dashboard is straightforward and easy for our Hiring Managers and Recruiters alike to see what is happening throughout the process. Our recruiting manager has fallen in love with the applications tracking of email communications with each candidate. This ability alone has us re-thinking our email subscriptions storage levels. My comment is not so much as a dislike but more of a request for a feature. We see this product as an organizer and time saver allow the recruiting team to be proactive. The applications tracking of communications is awesome but lacking one aspect of communications between the candidate and recruiting team, “Voice” communications exchange. If Freshcaller was integrated into the application it would simplify the task of reaching out and logging calls with the candidates. WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS….hint…hint. As someone who used Freshworks CRM, Freshdesk for ticketing and Freshteam, I can vouch for their UX, some of the intuitive easy to use features in the CRM.

The most helpful feature is the generation of reports. We're able to track the entire recruitment cycle of a candidate on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The entire process is just automated and once you set up the key attributes you require in your reports thats it. One downside of the tool is that there are a number of bugs which keeps on occuring showing an error. though these are not very frequent but they act as a setback for a fast paced hiring environment. There also is this occur which has been very frequent in the past few months i.e. once you draft a mail to the candidate and send it across the page shows an error 404. Though it shows an error yet the mail is sent to the candidate. At times the same mail is sent twice to the candidate. This is a major drawback in the software as the experience is not smooth enough. The ATS tool is useful to capture all the candidate-related information and additional fields can be added to capture more information. There is no limit on the number of jobs that can be opened and each job can be assigned to a recruiter.
The reports section has advanced analytics which is very helpful to understand the hiring process. Freshteams made it easy to track and manage candidates, in turn making it easy to review applications, schedule interviews, and collaborate with the hiring team. As soon as a job is closed or kept on hold, the applicants attached to that particular job get unassigned and will be moved to the talent pool, which is a downside because searching for the candidates who were listed for that particular job will no longer be seen in that job. I paid for the full year to get a discount, then as my assistant dove into the setup, it was much more cumbersome and taking a lot longer than anticipated. I switched to another vendor, Thryv, and within a week's time, we have more setup than we did in a month of Freshworks. Unfortunately due to their return policy, I'm out for an entire year's investment, but the ease I have with another vendor is worth that loss to me, and it's a valuable lesson for me to learn: not to prepay a year before I fully vetted something out.
