What do you dislike about Bloomreach?

Sometimes the rate of innovations in the product is too quick to catch up with. Also the documentation catches up vagrantly.

What problems is Bloomreach solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're using the reporting features as single source of truth within the company. Dashboards in use show the state of the company from various points of view on monthly or weekly basis, or even allow an operational view drilling down to hours and minutes, particularly useful when analysing new distributions.

Reports allow slicing and dicing of event based data. Analysts have a variety of tools including a Flow chart effectively allowing to cross-check with other data sources within the company such as Google Analytics.

Campaigns allow rapid marketing e-mail or weblayer campaigns design, testing and evaluation. This is particularly useful for e-commerce.

We have also repurposed the push features to allow secure, trackable and targeted in-app communication with end-users of our product, a browser-extension best-in-breed password manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bloomreach?

Bloomreach is a great product that is user friendly, allows us as lean team to work at a greater scale and personalise our customer experience.

As a past user of other platforms, Bloomreach is one of the simplest platforms to use I've experienced, especially when you take into account the capabilities it has a product. It makes it relatively simple to upskill/train team members and no programming skills are required.

Campaign and automation set-up is simple and intuitive, integration with customer data allows us to personalise and discover more about our customers, use case library is a great resource, allows us to take an omnichannel approach and to test at scale and AI capabilities are strong (and improving all the time).

What do you dislike about Bloomreach?

There isn't a massive amount to dislike. Our biggest challenges are probably around how we get the most out of the platform and the opportunities available.

One potential drawback for us is that it is (naturally) more geared towards ecommerce, so some of the out of the box solutions and reporting metrics need to be tweaked or aren't relevant to our industry, but that will be no different to other platforms on the market and Bloomreach do work with us to overcome some of the those challenges where possible. Wherever you need to use Jinja or other advanced features, the learning curve might feel very steep. Although it's nice to have out of the box reports and dashboards, they always feel a bit too basic and difficult to work with when you need to add complex KPIs or formulas. What do you like best about Bloomreach?

It is by far the best Customer Data Platform, Marketing Automation, and Gen AI tool we have used, and it keeps on giving. We have been able to acheive some great results so far. Their customer support team and integration team have been extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach?

To be very honest, there is not very much to dislike because this platform provides so many advanced features for marketers that there is nothing to compare it to at the moment. The integration process could have been a bit faster, but we are aware of the limitations we had due to our cumbersome back-end solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bloomreach solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Bloomreach Engagement platform enables us to customize our marketing campaigns based on customer preferences and their behavior on our website.

We have been able to increase newsletter subscriptions by 160% by showing pop-up banners to website visitors and generating revenue of more than 4 million, calculated based on the discount coupons given to new subscribers.

What do you like best about Bloomreach?

The support team at Bloomreach have been amazing for me. They go above and beyond, speak clearly, are understanding and help me understand. Really lovely experiences with them so far. As for the rest of Bloomreach, their academy courses are decent, the documentation is good. The experience on the platform can be tricky in complex circumstances, but for the most part is easy enough to use and makes sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bloomreach?

Just some things that don't work as expected or have the potential to be better. An example is building an email with a content block, the content block is not preview-able within the builder making the process of testing far more complicated than necessary. Another example is that although the platforms whole thing is automatic handling of new data ETC, I encountered an issue whereby I set a list attribute to a string by mistake, and that broke the whole attribute for all customers. thanks to Bloomreach we can easily implement and evaluate AB tests, we are able to send personalized emails with the right content at the right time what helps the user activation. We are working towards using Bloomreach as the main platform for all customer data and digital marketing and the idea of having all that data in one place is great.
