Taking out direct interface, I liked the simplicity of browsing, selecting, and paying for courses provided by a 3rd party. This allowed me to manage my interactions without receiving direct feedback from the 3rd party, which is something I prefer when signing up for seminars, etc. Also, I like the social aspect of EventBrite and the ability to find educational, social, and a variety of free and paid events. While simplistic in appearance, I experienced a time waste while navigating pages and management my payment. Other than this, I have no dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think that Eventbrite is awesome because I first used it when I was looking to connect with like-minded individuals in my city. I also was invited through Eventbrite to go to a Job Fair and I think that was very convenient. It is also easy to pay for events because of a variety of payment methods. The customer support is pretty awesome and the app is easy to use. I use it when I need to find likeminded people to hangout whether online or offline. It was easily integrated in the app we use for social media as a group of friends living far apart. We use it to find events to hangout. There are a lot of free events and the top tier ones are worth paying for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The exciting events can be really expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most is how easy it is to create an event, customize it, and start receiving registrations within minutes. The interface is clear, intuitive, and user-friendly for both organizers and attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The service fees can be high for small events or those with limited budgets. Additionally, some advanced features are only available in paid plans, which can be a drawback if you're looking for more professional tools without a significant upfront investment. I have used Eventbrite multiple times to find cool local events and to implement a few small events, and it’s been great overall. Super easy to set up events, manage tickets, and share the link with people. The site and app are both really user-friendly, and I love that everything's pretty much plug and play integration.
As an attendee, buying tickets is super simple, and I’ve never had issues getting into an event or finding the info I need. The ease of implementation, email reminders and mobile tickets are a nice touch too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The search feature does not always feel smart. Like, you might enter a city or place and get results that are kind of off and no use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to discover networking events that align with my interests and industry. The search and filter functions are super intuitive, and I appreciate how seamless the ticketing process is. It’s also great to have event updates, reminders, and details all in one place—makes planning stress-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, not much! If I had to pick something, it would be that sometimes smaller or niche events can be a bit harder to find unless you know the exact keywords. It would be nice to have more curated recommendations based on past events or preferences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like Eventbrite's abilities to promote various events and opportunities for our organization to sign up and attend the same events throughout our community. Whether we, the organization, are hosting an event to promote to the public; or, there are events in our work community that our organization is interested in attending, Eventbrite provides an easy to use platform, easy to share and understand...very organized, too. The only thing I find redundant about Eventbrite is that it is similar to many other local event websites and dashboards. While I do think Eventbrite has a great user interface, I think it's too similar to other products or websites available, and can often lead to anxiety if a popular event is listed on a competitor's website, but not on Eventbrite's website. I like that I can set up my events in advance and keep them as drafts. it. I am in control of everything from the background picture to adding an agenda. I can do tickets with different prices. Just about everything can be customized. The payout comes quickly. The reports are very detailed. The admin user has a lot of control of giving refunds or even adding people with paid by check.
I have used this platform about a dozen times in the past year. I have not had to contact customer service, the help section is pretty clear and helps a lot.
The set up of the account is easy and they even have an AI option that can help me set up an event.
I can download the spreadsheets and filter as you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside is once you publish if you wanted to change the refund or custom questions can't be changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Eventbrite is an excellent tool for managing business events, as it facilitates their online promotion, issues tickets, notifications, and reminders for registered attendees, and automatically collects useful information for the host. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The organic reach of the event (or through the Evenbrite user community) may be limited depending on the country or region where the event is promoted, so it may require external promotion to drive interested parties to the official registration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how easy it is to create an event on Eventbrite. And it's not really hard to make a purchase. There's a number of features that caught my intention but the number of events on their website was top priority. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I have paid for events on Eventbrite and unfortunately they weren't real events, so it was a hassle trying to get a refund from them. customer support should make that easier. I shouldn't have to fight to get my money back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy event setup and management.
Built-in Social Media integration makes promotion of events easier.
Analytics for tracking sales and attendance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intended for external public-facing events, there are challenges when organizing private events, for example, difficulty limiting or validating who can access and purchase tickets, difficulty in ensuring only one ticket per person.
Customization can be pricey.
App can be buggy sometimes.
No polling or feedback tools built-in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the app is really fluid and it was easy to use it at first when i searched for the event ticket i was looking for!
I've never had a reason to contact the customer support because everything ran smoothly during my experiences.
I've used it accordingly to the event i was looking for and their availability on their website. looking for purchase history i found i used the app in 10 orders in the past 4 years.
I did easily implement it on my device by downloading the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think one feature should be more easily accessible! I recall opening the ticket emails and the qr code link are almost hidden and difficult to find which might cause delays at the venue entrance which might make the system less easy of integrating compared to ra.co/ticketswap.
