What do you like best about CoverageBook?

I find the reports that I can share with clients to be the most useful. Having a third party validate the value of coverage received is tremendous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

Some outlet metrics are outdated or missing, which creates a need for me to research reach and view numbers from other sources and import them into my reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

In general, it is difficult to quantify the value of PR. Earner media value is archaic and not a true representation of the value of PR. CoverageBook has created another option based on reach, views, engagement and other metrics that are easy to understand and explain to clients. Their reports are also visually impressive, which is helpful when working to demonstrate value with clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

(Original )Information
What do you like best about CoverageBook?

For our associates, it is the ease of learning and use, and the UX and UI are stunningly friendly. Clients love the presentation of PDF and online reports. Great for boutique firms like ours that want the best of cutting-edge coverage measurement and reporting, without prohibitive learning curve or runaway costs. The social measurements are automatically retrieved for non-paywalled online, while offline media (e.g. print, radio and TV) we can edit manually and edit the data, which worked out great for a multi-media world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

Frankly, haven't found much dislikes. If there is a tiny suggestion, is perhaps more capabilities in the filing and sorting of past client reports, with hierarchical possibilities (e.g. clients, dates, projects, campaigns, etc), so that it would be neater on the left-side panel of Client Report lists. Maybe along the same suggestion, the size of thumbnails may be user-adjusted as well, to allow us to show less information clutter in the viewing of reports on the screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering CoverageBook:

Coveragebook is especially useful for lean and agile teams, either internal PR and communication teams, or boutique agencies, that need an efficient, cost-effective, friendly and well supported SaaS platform for media coverage and reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

All clients on PR programs require reports. Some clients can do with a simple spreadsheet, and some demand customized reports of their formats. But for many clients, we recommend to them the Coveragebook format, which is friendly and presentable, and gives sufficient statistics and visual appeal for high-level client executives. Plus, Coveragebook offers AMEC Barcelona measurement compliance, which to us is the key plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoverageBook?

CoverageBook makes it easy to distribute beautiful and informative press reports to all of our stakeholders both internally and externally. We've recieved such positive feedback from our team about how great they look, how it helps inform future marketing decisions, and how well they communicate the overall success of our campaigns. We create new press reports for each campaign as well as for quarterly and yearly round ups. It was easy to implement as we work in a fairly small department and there were no hurdles in getting it approved. It's an immensely valuable tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

It would be great if it had the capability to help me make decisions about pitching within the field we work in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps telling the story of our PR success in better detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoverageBook?

Coveragebook has made it very simple to compile and track analytics for campaign-related coverage, and to share with clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

Manually entering all of the coverage is a bit cumbersome as we need two programs to use effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to using CoverageBook, we would have trouble sharing coverage links with our clients easily, especially on more robust campaigns. Being an online solution, it's easy to share one link with clients instead of multiple links to different pieces of coverage. It also makes it easy to download analytics for other reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoverageBook?

It is difficult to choose what we like the most as a team. I think the customer service is very good, always willing to help us. On the other hand, the ease of creating reports with Coverage Book helps us optimize time and deliver a document of great value to our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

Perhaps there are some things that could be improved, like the synchronization of some media, the possibility of customizing certain things, but honestly, these are details, the tool is intuitive, easy to use, it's the best I've seen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is necessary to understand more about the impact of PR actions to make this marketing service something more "measurable" and "tangible." CoverageBook is the best I have seen since I started doing this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CoverageBook is so easy to use! I love the output and the professional look of the reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

The metrics are difficult to track in terms of social engagement so I often leave those out of my reports. I don't think that the reporting on those metrics as as robust, and it could be due to the APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

CoverageBook enables me to produce professional looking reporting for client coverage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoverageBook?

CoverageBook is extremely to use and customize for individual brands so it can be used amongst multiple clients as an agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

Although there is the opportunity to add slides, which has become much more robust over the past few iterations, I would enjoy the opportunity to provide a narrative or comments on individual media pieces.

Also, the ability to sort or tag media clippings in the Chrome plug-in would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

CoverageBook is giving me a great, visual way to deliver media reports to my clients.

Rather than earned media reporting like many use the program, I use the program for media and competition monitoring in concert with Google Alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CoverageBook?

First off, CoverageBook's ease of use, ease of implementation, and ease of integration throughout our agency was as smooth as it could have possibly been. We now use this tool daily to augment our reporting from Muck Rack, and for executive-level presentations, there is no better tool than CoverageBook. It organizes and segments our earned coverage in ways that are easily digestible for C-suiters and board members and wraps it all nicely visually. Purchasing CoverageBook was the easiest investment I have made on the agency side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

No dislikes. I'd love to see them continue to expand to incorporate more reporting for additional earned media like social, broadcast, podcasts, etc, but I suspect they will over time. My dream scenario is CoverageBook becoming the one-and-only reporting tool you need for all PR activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

CoverageBook helps us organize and report the volume and quality of our earned media to our clients, especially at a high level (C-suite and board-level). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoverageBook?

Searching for books is a bit clunky and its easy to lose track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CoverageBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it as a standard metrics function across clients because circulation and even DA can vary. It seems that we have a single source of truth for our work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
