Bonusly allows you to recognize other employees in a way that goes above and beyond that of a simple "thank you" message. I love that the entire company can see when kudos are given/received and I love that receivers can use their points to treat themselves. Bonusly is easy to use and allows you to use gifs which helps capture the sentiment of the moment! Being a remote company this allows us to celebrate our wins together. There is nothing at this time that I dislike about Bonusly. I think it is an incredible product and very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Bonusly is how seamlessly it encourages a culture of appreciation and recognition within the team. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the real-time recognition helps boost morale instantly. I also love the flexibility of rewards—being able to choose from a wide range of gift cards or even donate to causes makes the appreciation feel truly personal and meaningful. It turns everyday wins into shared celebrations, which keeps motivation high and connections strong Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike, but if I had to pick something, it would be the limited customization options in the rewards catalog for some regions. Occasionally, some teammates find fewer relevant reward choices depending on their location. That said, Bonusly is constantly updating their offerings, so it’s a minor issue that doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bonusly has proven to be an invaluable tool at Information First, fostering a vibrant and appreciative workplace culture. The platform empowers every member of our team to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of their colleagues in a meaningful way.
What stands out is how Bonusly helps to bring our company values to life. By allowing individuals to highlight specific actions and achievements, we see firsthand how our colleagues embody our core principles. This not only boosts morale and strengthens team cohesion but also creates a positive feedback loop that reinforces the behaviors we value most.
It's inspiring to see the creative ways our team members acknowledge each other's hard work and dedication. Bonusly has helped foster a greater sense of connection and appreciation across all levels of Information First. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bonusly is a powerful tool for cultivating appreciation and positive culture, but limitations in point allocation, reward variety, and user interface are drawbacks for some of our users. The potential for recognition bias and the cost for larger companies are also considerations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Bonusly is how easy it is to use. The interface is simple and clean, so anyone can get started right away without much training. It was also really easy to set up and roll out to the whole team—took barely any time to implement.
We use it almost every day across different teams, and it’s become a regular part of how we work. It has just the right number of features—nothing too complicated, but enough to keep things fun and engaging. You can send points, add messages, react to others' posts, and keep track of your rewards easily.
Another big plus is how well it integrates with tools we already use like Slack. That makes it even more convenient because we can give recognition without switching apps. Overall, it just fits in smoothly with our workflow and makes team appreciation feel natural and consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One small thing I’d say is that sometimes the monthly points can feel a bit limited, especially if you have a bigger team and want to recognize a lot of people. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility with that. But overall, it’s not a major issue and doesn’t take away from how useful the platform is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I get to give/receive points to my team mates whenever we have something to celebrate, it’s making us feel special given that the points we give/receive can be redeemed to a lot of options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There was a certain feature that we wish Bonusly had. We wanted to be able to just post a picture or a paragraph (Example: For this week, HR wanted to have a “Appreciate your Work Buddy Day”) then our colleagues can post a thread in the comment section and tag their chosen person. The points will come from the company budget, and there will be limited amount of points allocated to each employee - something like that.
I wish Bonusly had the platform where we can customize, or suggest what features will work best for us.
Apart from that Bonusly has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy that my employer offers Bonusly. It’s a super easy platform to navigate and provides a great incentive to not only do a great job yourself but to also show appreciation to coworkers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At one point we could make our own hashtags, which I thought was fun, but are unable to do so anymore. I also often get confused for another Courtney with a very similar last name to me, and she ends up with a lot of my bones. I wish there was a way to fix that or somehow add a picture or something to our names, but I don’t know how or if that’s possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I promote this service more than any other to people with small teams and businesses. I believe bonusly is personal enough to connect you to your team and accessible enough to make the effort to recognize others. It allows me to express who I am through Gifs and personalized messages. The service is rewarding and I look forward to checking my balance often. Bonusly opens up a workplace to be more vulnerable about how you did or how someone elses efforts work affected you. Bonusly have several important features like personalized messaging, hashtags and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike bonusly. I believe the service is great for what it does. I think some helpful critiques would be to create a phone app for this service. I wasn't able to find a phone application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love using Bonusly through Slack to praise teammates easily. It allows me to publicly praise them for their efforts which leads to other teammates joining in and showering with praise. Bonusly has so many options for gift cards to claim but I also love that I can use my own pool of points to give to others. Using giphys is a bonus! Sometimes there aren't words, but memes and clips that express our appreciation better.
The Slack integration allows me to give praise more often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This isn't quite Bonusly fault but I wish I had more points to give. It would be nice if I can go above and beyond to purchase a gift card for a team member directly.
It would be nice to have a reminder mid-month and end of the month so I don't forget to use all my points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bonusly allows users give and receive points to each other and exchange the points for gift cards. This little bit of incentive is a tremendous way to drive engagement, encourage, and support your fellow co-workers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only gripe is that I wish I had more points to give each month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy seeing and being able to support colleagues, co-workers, and direct reports both personally and professionally. We all work remotely, so we aren't able to often show in person direct support and have daily chats and conversations or small talk we would normally have in an office setting, so it's fun to see everyone correspond with one another & joke about funny gifs/memes etc, but also get rewarded for doing so. I also love you're able to trade your points for more points to support others with and also donate to charities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have nothing bad to say about Bonusly. I've been using it for years and love the advancements they've made and love interacting with coworkers through the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
