I am a big fan of Blender, a 3D software that is both free and open-source. It impresses me with its high-quality tools that are usually found in expensive commercial softwares. Blender includes features commonly used in the industry, such as modeling, animation, simulation, and rendering which I found super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find Blender to be a great tool, but one thing that bothers me is how hard it can be to learn, especially for someone new to it. The interface is complex and different from what you might be used to, which can make it tough to figure out all the tools and shortcuts at first. Plus, while there is a lot of documentation and tutorials available, they can sometimes be confusing or not up to date for certain features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part about blender is that it is free, with all the features and services it provides, it really baffles me how it is compleltely free.
It is a really powerful software capable of completing complex tasks . My favourite part is the animation and how easy it is to start creating your first few basic animation by just watching a few tutorials. I used it for 3d modelling too and it definitely stood out amongst its alternatives as it provided more features and was easy once you grasp the few basic commands. Although few, but the main downside I found about blender was how overwhelming it was for me as a complete newbie in the start, the UI was clean but definitely could scare you off as a beginner so you will have to invest a good amount of time in watching tutorials and learn the basics first. Talking about the tutorial, another problem is that many features lack tutorial and may be difficult to understand if you dive deep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Blender is smooth and it is much better than autodesk maya. The animation and the objects are also in vast numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The functionality is less as compared to other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is the best software for creating 3d objects and characters. It is free and open-source software. Also, It has an incredible development cycle. It comes with many awesome features like full modelling toolkit, sculpting, UV mapping, texturing objects, animations etc. which makes your work easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sorry, Right now for me I can't find out any problems or dislike points about blender :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy access. It is very small in file size and can do mega projects. Easy to use tools. Can add sketchfab extension which can help import 3D models easily with textures. Super EASY. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the export or import of 3D models doesn't go as planned. And the 3D model which I export to upload on Mixamo, doesn't work often. Have to be too precise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
