The platform is extensive, covering all of our customer feedback listening and analysis needs. It also provide things that were bonuses for us like presence management and survey tools. And they really take it to the next level with the review request process and integration capabilities.
In addition, I've really enjoyed working with every single one of their team members. Each has been incredibly helpful and gets things done. What I like best about Birdeye is how easy it makes managing online reputation and customer reviews. The platform brings everything into one place, so I can monitor and respond to reviews quickly, request feedback from customers, and even improve our local SEO. I also really like the automated review requests and customizable templates — they save a ton of time while still feeling personal. The platform is very easy to use and understand and is great! We had to switch to a different platform due to corporate requests, but now we're back! Our rep was responsive and did a fantastic job before so we are hoping our new rep. will be just as great! He was very knowledgeable about the product and for the few things he didn't, he was quick to send it to the other teams. I love that I can see and respond to most all reviews from the dashboard. They outsourced the reps and since doing so, my last 2 reps have not been great. We've had to request to change reps twice and are now working with those reps' supervisor. We are hoping our new rep will be as great as the last one we had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Birdeye has been a game changer for me. It has allowed me to streamline our review platforms into an organized and efficient system that has freed up so much time for me! Having the AI generated responses as well as the automated responses has also been such a huge help. We have seen our reviews increase drastically after just a short period of time using it- the social media aspect is also another HUGE perk, being able to schedule posts ahead of time to take that mental load off of my plate has been amazing! Birdeye has been great for managing our online presence in one system. We use it daily for listings management, reviews, webchat and texting. We made the switch after using multiple systems to do the same thing. It's nice to have one login experience rather than two. It's also great to have a live person as your contact rather than waiting for an email response like the competitors force you to do. Our customer success manager, Sahil Johri, is excellent. He listens and follows through. The live tech support (through chat) is also super helpful and easy to access. We had quite a few bumps in the road with implementation early on. Our success/implementation coach and her manager were with us every step of the way. We didn't expect to have so many issues. Good news is they always get them fixed and are on it!
The Ai tool is fairly new with the webchat. It was piecing together information that wasn't accurate from our website because it took a piece of information from one page and combined it with another and didn't understand completely. As a result, we had to have them turn off the Ai answering function because it was letting customers know things that weren't correct.
The Ai responses for answering reviews isn't great. We don't like the tone of the responses. It's not authentic. We're hoping it continues to improve as it learns our voice. Fortunately, I'm fast at responding to reviews and can create my own responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How easy it is to schedule out all of your social media posts and make my daily life at work so much easier! I personally use Birdeye everyday to keep up with and plan out my posts ahead of time. The AI caption feature is amazing, especially for business content. It quickly creats customized captions for your content based on what you're posting! Love that you can tag other brands right on Birdeye before the post goes out. It is really helpful to see the analytics portion to know when is the best time to schedule your posts so that your follwers have a better chance of seeing it on their feed. You can also see how many interactions your posts got, which is something I love personally. It is also nice that you can edit the caption for each different social media platform you are posting on, I don't always like to add captions to my Google page and Birdeye makes it very easy to erase it from one platform but post the caption on the other platforms you're scheduling the post for! Birdeye was a very easy platform to jump into without much training, it is super user friendly and easy to pick up on all the features it offers! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a way to customize Instagram and facebook stories on the birdeye platform. I typically have to start creating the post directly on Instagram to add captions, music, sticks and anything else to make it eye-catching and creative. Then I have to save the story on Instagram to my photos/videos and then upload it through the birdeye app so I can see analytics and traction. I would love for there to be a way to do all of this directly on birdeye. But that is really the only downside I have seen since using this platform the last few months! Birdeye have been very accommodating for the specific needs of our franchise structure. Always trying to seek a solution which best fits our requirements, even if that means they have to liaise with other companies. Birdeye is such a large system and there's ALOT to learn in each module, so can take time to get used to finding where things are located even though you know what you want to do. The more time you spend in the modules, the easier it becomes to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would not say dislike. There is nothing I really do not like. To be honest the biggest problem I have with Birdeye is that it is too easy for everyone to use. Meaning anyone in our store and the internet team have the ability to contact the customer so the first person to reach out to the customer is the one who generally gets the sale. Our response time is roughly less than a minute for a reason. My team is constantly using it so if you are unfamiliar with Birdeye or what it offers you can be at a disadvantage. User friendly layout and dashboard, and you can respond to reviews, check your NPS score, and review your client referrals all in one website. Constantly evolving to expand to more channels, such as YELP. Great program. AI generate reviews are especially helpful. We love BirdEye because it allows us to view all of our online reviews in one location and allows us to respond seamlessly. We can also integrate with our Property Management software to send out review requests and surveys to see where we are excelling and where we need to improve. We have not seen a negative impact to using BirdEye, the only thing I wish is if there were more Support integrated with Google to verify some of our GMB pages, but this is definitely a Google Support issue and is not a fault of BirdEye. In recent weeks, our BirdEye rep has also been super helpful in connecting our GMB pages once we are able to get ownership of them which makes it seamless for us to respond to reviews!
