The major downside is the cost of subscription. This has been a real fight internally to keep Arena PLM within the business and I am always asked to review the features against other offerings.
Other downsides would include the inability to 'Delete' or remove items in Production. I believe offering this feature alongside a cached 'Trash' area it would enable us to have cleaner workspaces.

- Analytics is very nice to develop dash board and proactively monitor progress.

I think Arena QMS can be a game-changer for managing quality and compliance. It's easy to use and can be used for alot of things like document control, audit management, or real-time access to information. It can be a bit of a learning curve to get used to the features. The training section can be tedious as it provides the same quiz every time a new document is updated. Arena is a complete solution for our eQMS, which is exactly what we were looking for. Arena is an incredibly useful tool to keep not only released protocols, reports, and documents, but also traceable drafts and design history files for each of these elements. One challenging aspect of Arena is that there are so many options in the drop down menu, between Items, Training, etc. - that it's easy to get lost in where you are. I've spent a lot of time searching for a training module, only to find that I was in the wrong menu, and vice versa. I appreciate the intuitive user interface of Arena PLM & QMS, which makes navigating the system straightforward, even for new users. One area for improvement is the integration with some external tools, which can be a bit cumbersome at times. While Arena offers a broad range of features, it can feel overwhelming, especially for users who only need to access a few specific functionalities regularly. Although the customer support is helpful, there are moments when resolving complex issues takes longer than expected. Lastly, the frequency of use can be a challenge, as the extensive features require consistent engagement to fully leverage the system's capabilities, which may not always align with the team's workload. The template creation is cumbersome would like to see some improvement there to make it more user friendly. The attribute creation sometimes does not work for me. Would like the capability of changing the Attribute type. Auto text would be a nice feature. I often repeat certain text and it would be nice if it could auto populate or suggest text that is often used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Can become a more complete system by integrating availability & Lifecycle informaiton of BOM parts, Support for Requirement management and traceabilty, Itegration with ECAD/MCAD tools to manage BOMs & changes without manual entry would help. Though some integration is availble, it comes at high cost and is not much controllable.

1. I have many enhancement requests that do not get implemented. It would be very helpful if Arena provided a quarterly report of my suggestions/feedback with an implementation date.
2. I am a heavy user of Arena and have been for years. I would like the administrator role to have more freedom in making updates when things are 'locked'. I shouldn't have to withdraw an ECO for a typo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
