Quite expensive. Does not supports caching mechanisms. No alert configuration, just 1 common. Limited query logic. especially "A OR (B AND C) OR (D AND E) " is not supported.

Proper Array of object filtering on multiple fields is not supported. You need to created multiple records with the same asset and unique objects in each record form the array.

We had several sales calls with Algolia to determine it was the right product for our client. Then when we entered into an agreement we had very detailed weekly onboarding sessions to teach us about the tool. The dashboard is very user friendly and there's so many different features. We're excited about the level of control we'll have with this tool compared to the default site search tools through a CMS like Drupal or Wordpress, or ElasticSearch via AWS. This is nice because we can see why a search is ranking a certain way right through the dashboard and will save us time from having to do trial and error to make the site search as relevant as possible. I love the visual editor in Algolia, it is very easy to use. The analytics also provide very valuble insights that can be used to then create or edit rules or synonyms. Sometimes the process of browsing and transforming records programatically could use some better documentation. At least when i started out it felt at times like i was missing some examples of e.g loading all records into a program an iterating on them. After a while it made more sense at has gotten easier.
