Agility PR Solutions enables me to track coverage for my client and their competitors every month, and pull reports on share of voice, sentiment, themes and more - all from an easy to use online portal. My favorite thing about Agility PR is the ease of customizing the items that I am tracking across the news. It is easy to set up a bunch of different searches and reports. The main frustration comes when editing press releases within the platform - any time I make a change to the text, it jumps back to the top of the page, so I end up constantly scrolling up and down. It can be a bit of a faff and slows things down. I’d like the option to set brand styles in the PR template, to save time and ensure consistency across campaigns. Lastly, the brand monitoring feature looks really valuable, but it’s out of budget for us at the moment. Agility Media Monitoring offers comprehensive coverage across print, online, broadcast, and social media with real-time alerts make monitoring effortless and efficient. I like its smart use of AI-driven insights providing meaningful sentiment analysis and trend detection that elevate reporting from reactive to strategic. It's research element is something we have also been impressed with.
The customer support is outstanding with online advisors available 24/7 to address any issues immediately. This is paired with a dedicated account manager who we can book as many support / training sessions with as we like. As part of a team of PR professionals this has really helped ensure every team member got up to speed swiftly with Agility and feels able to reach out for additional support when required. Switching to Agility from our previous provider was a big shift and initially we found that Agility was a little too clever and its reach was so comprehensive that when building media lists we were finding we were generating far too many results. The capacity for what it can do is fantastic, it is simply a matter of learning how to use it correctly in order to drill into what you want to find. My colleague signed this contract, and despite my feedback expressing hesitation about continuing, it was carried over without consideration. Each month, we fail to locate 60–80% of key publications from major outlets and YouTubers. For over six months, I’ve been told to manually send the missing publications to their team so they can "fix" the platform, but the issue persists. This has forced my team to spend 2–3 hours daily assisting Agility in correcting their service—on top of paying for it.
They even claim it’s acceptable to miss such a significant volume of publications and insist the contract cannot be terminated. Additionally, I attempted to send a press release through their platform, and only 1 out of 200 contacts responded. This platform is poorly executed and designed to take advantage of companies.
