Adobe CC is helpful for designers like me who have multiple niches in terms of media. It consists of tools I need for my everyday tasks for my different clients. You don't need to create an account for each tool, unlike other software limited to one function, because one account can be used across different platforms under Adobe CC, which is a time-saver for me. Generative AI is not yet polished, especially when I use Photoshop. Additionally, there are no proper prompt guidelines on how to use it, so generating images inside Photoshop is kind of hard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Adobe for more than a decade now, from my college days and now a working professional, i never really had any training for their products but due to the vast number of tutorials online i managed to make a living out of creating social media post up to 2d animations. Being the industry standard, a lot of companies use adobe as their benchmark in hiring graphic design services, and because adobe's program is compatible to most every file format out there, you can use their product with almost anything design related projects. The only problem i have with Adobe Creative Cloud is sometimes when new updates roll out it crashes the program, mostly indesign and photoshop and it uses too much RAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the extensive range of features available for automation, organization, editing and publishing anything from flyers to magazines. I can create large documents very quickly with Indesign. I have also integrated in5 in to Indesign and worked extensively with the interactive features to create a digital award-winning interactive college viewbook. The tools are always being "upgraded" to push aside the things you really count on in favor of useless things you don't need. It is so clear that new releases are based on the wet dreams of programmers and zero customer feedback. It is well known that customer service and support has been on the decline for years. OK, its hard to find good people these days. But I would prefer that they simply got rid of support instead of using these horrible people who lie to you and hang up on you and are rude and are not empowered or trained to do anything at all. I find InDesign very easy to use. The way images are linked instead of embedded into the file saves on file size. This also eliminates the need to replace any image contet if it has been revised in another program. Even though InDesign is mostly a publishing software, I have used it most often to create presentations for clients with easy to make layouts that look professional. I also will often use InDesign as a quick way to communicate and discuss changes or edits to designs (for example 3D renders), so there is an easy visual document, instead of just going back and forth in emails with attachments. Of course the software has been updated many times over the years, but I find that I don't use any of the newer features. For me I just need the basic functions from version CS6 as crazy as that sounds. I feel the amount of tools and menu options has made the key features get lost, and I have to spend more time looking for the tools I really need. I also don't like how the color palette works. I would prefer something more similar to Photoshop or Illustrator as far as how to add and manage colors in the document.
