At some point, if you wish to keep growing in the field of web development, Dreamweaver doesn't fit this need and you eventually grow out of it. Adobe Dreamweaver supports a variety of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, making it an excellent tool for coding and design modifications. I like the option to work in both Code and Design views at the same time,. Its responsive design capabilities enable users to test how their sites appear on different devices. Additionally, seamless integration with other Adobe products like Photoshop and Illustrator enhances workflow efficiency and maintains design consistency. The real-time preview feature allows users to see changes instantly, making testing and refinement much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adobe Dreamweaver can be difficult for beginners due to its complicate features and numerous options. It necessitates an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, which can be pricier than other web development tools. Furthermore, the design view doesn't always align perfectly with the final output, often requiring additional adjustments in the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Adobe has always some of the best tool out there for creativity. Dreamweaver is one of the simplest tool I used so far. It has different colors for different languages. Easily recognizes the errors. The GUI is super friendly and drag and drop the elements provides ease to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a drawback but it is more ideal for the companies that like to create templates. Rest all is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of Dreamweaver when putting my newsletter together. I can view code and use the split feature to see my changes live. It is amazing at seeing the full layout before I post in my email tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface isn't easy if you are new to HTML or Adobe. It has a bit of a learning curve but it is manageable. I would like to see more video tutorials incorporated to help newbies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is clear in terms of the different sections that you can use. I like how the preview and code views can be seen together. It isn't as good as some competitors but shows what you want when you want it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is pretty complicated to work out. I am not a Developer by trade but dabble and even the developer in my team thinks it is over complicated. Just make it easier to use? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has a quite pleasant interface to the eye, in addition to being customizable to the developer's taste, its IntelliSense is very good and quite useful, and the functions to add elements manually are more than excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a bit complicated the connection with the test and remote servers, and I don't understand why that connection is so slow, other than that I don't see a major problem using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its CSS designer is very much optimized to provide a convenient solution to its users and also supports Sass and Less, which helps a lot.
It has immense customization potential according to your needs with the help of add-ons.
It makes creating a responsive website very easy by providing a live preview of different screens.
It also supports FTP and SFTP, making deployment more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its CPU utilization is high whenever in use.
Its pricing is not justified compared to its services.
Its auto-suggestions are not as good as Visual Studio Code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Adobe Dreamweaver is that it is a very useful tool for creating and designing web pages. With Dreamweaver, you can drag and drop elements onto your page, such as images and text, which makes it easy and fun to create your own website. It also has many useful features, such as code error checking and real-time preview, which allow you to ensure that your page looks and functions correctly. Additionally, Dreamweaver offers pre-designed templates that help you get started quickly and create a professional website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some people do not like Dreamweaver because it can be a bit difficult to learn at first. You also need to pay to use it, and sometimes it can take a long time to load if your computer is not very fast. Sometimes there can be many things on the screen and it can be confusing to find what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that you can develop a full website outside any platform and edit, upload, or tweak it at will. Additionally I love that all different code "sections" are color coaded so seeing what you are doing in code view is just as easy as seeing it in live presentation mode. I don't feel that the template section in the standard/staring version offers enough variety as with other progrms that offer templates or "starter" layouts. I also wish there was a graphic option on screen similar to programs like "canva" and not outside there I have to jump back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
