
I liked the thought of being able to run both google, bing and Facebook out of one platform. This was supposed to make creating ads, and duplicating ads for scaling purposes easier for us but things didn't go as planned. The person that sold us on Acquisio over promised what we could do, and shortly after we signed up and started to integrate our call tracking, analytics and adwords into their platform he left their company. This shouldn't have been a huge issue, but everything he said we could do, we never were able to. It took forever to get onboarded and then once we started to try to create campaigns and do everything we were promised our support person went on vacation and nothing worked the way we thought. When our main contact came back, he more or less said the things we wanted to do to scale our business couldn't be done (not sure if that was the truth because shortly after this, he left the company.) Display advertising isn't out of the box, there is lots of manual processes to get setup. Most software solutions I have worked with taking 2-3 days for billing to get sorted but everything took much longer (weeks). The VP apologized for this and they handled it wonderfully even though they made a mistake to begin with. The benefits of Acquisio are the BBM feature which manages your budget and bidding really well and gains efficiency in CPC and CPA. They are also a great organisation to work with, always helpful. Fast with support requests. They also take on board feature requests and add to the road map.
Also, the Budget optimiser allows you to have your budget pushed to the best performing campaigns or publishers automatically which not only saves time but also can boost performance on accounts. The cloner aspect of the platform also allows you to clone your Google account and push to Microsoft as well which can save a lot of time.
