What I like the best about Accelevents is the ease of use when it comes to creating agendas and modifying your event. The user interface is very logical and you can see your changes right away to confirm the change you made is what your attendees are looking at. To change the time or order of sessions is very easy. Adding presenters is also powerful but easy. I like the ability of being able to give a presenter access to their bio, or NOT to let them access their bio :) The Accelevents platform is also one stop shopping. There's no need to link out to other apps for real time web conferencing or speed networking. These features are available within the platform, so there' no worrying about having attendees get lost jumping to another platform or making their way back. This also endures all the attendee analytics are in one place under a single platform. I've found the event hub and event landing page concepts to be confusing. It was hard to tell where to get a link to send to attendees, or where they should go - to the event site or event hub? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accelevents allows our organization to easily organize a wide variety of events (virtual, in-person, and hybrid) with a host of useful integrations like Salesforce, Zoom, and Zapier. We host over 80+ events annually so it has been difficult for us to find a suitable platform to meet our needs. The ticketing/registration functions are customizable with different requirements/promo & access codes and the confirmation emails include a calendar invite/magic link allowing attendees to go back in and update their information as needed. The sales and onboarding teams have been super helpful with implementation and we've appreciated how quick they are to respond by the live chat function and email. They have also been willing to work with us on a customized Salesforce approval flow unique for our membership-based trade association. The confirmation email template builder could be made to be a bit more user-friendly and I'd appreciate the ability to adjust the frequency that reminder emails are sent out. Accelevents is your one stop shop for event management needs. It's easy to use for anyone unfamiliar with even planning and they have a wide selection of features and customization options. From badge printing to exhibitor and sponsor management it has almost everything you need. This is a great product to use especially if event planning is not your full time role. I'm in Accelevents daily and there was a minimal learning curve to get started using the product. The pricing is also very competitive compared to other products like CVENT while still offering great features and capabilities. This year, the team has added several new features and have also improved existing capabilities. I can see that Accelevents takes care to listen to their customers and incorporate feedback into updates and features which I appreciate. I highly recommend this product.
Our sponsors and exhibitors love that lead scanning is built into Accelevents so that they don't have to pay several hundred dollars to use a lead scanner. For virtual events, Accelevents provides robust features and capabilities so that attendees have a seamless experience. I love the green room feature and all of the features that moderators can use to help manage questions and virtual attendees. I have not used the built-in email functionality (we rely on Emma instead) however, I plan to use it in the future because it seems like a more elegant way to connect with our attendees.
I also like the various embed and integration options available for the event landing page and virtual event hub. One of our events serves Higher Ed Technology Professionals and seamless web experience is important for reinforcing trust and ensuring attendees are confident that they're purchasing tickets for a real event and not a scam.
We have run into issues, both end user errors and bugs, but the Customer Success team has been a huge resource for us. They respond quickly, go above and beyond to solve our problems, and always try to help us learn how to use Accelevents better. They are keen to follow-up on outstanding support requests and coordinate closely with the product development team to ensure we always have a positive experience.
The Customer Success team has played a major role in our continued use of Accelevents as the company and product mature. Althea has been a pleasure to work with and always takes great care of us, going above and beyond in more ways than one. Arianne, Anya and Anna have also been great. I'd like to see improvements regarding customizing the event hub and landing page to better meet accessibility requirements. As a state funded organization, accessibility is a major priority for us and currently there are some accessibility challenges with the product's UI/UX and functionality.
There has been a continued challenge with using the built in name badge functionality. When printing badges, if you print or download badge files using a PC the art quality drops significantly, causing the badges to print blurry. This issue doesn't exist when using a Mac. The customer success team did a tremendous job helping us find a work around for a recent event, but I would like to see this improved because the badge creator is a major reason why we use Accelevents.
In addition, I've found the dashboard and analytics aren't always accurate. Whether it's end user error on our part or something that is prioritized for later on in the product roadmap, I'm unsure. I am able to get all of the data I need by doing manual registration data downloads and importing the data into excel. However, I'd like to be able to confidently trust the data presented in the built-in dashboard and analytics feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What amazed me right away was the service I recieve. The true 24/7 support is key for someone who has a tendancy to inadvertantly miss a toggle. I feel like the support is endless, where with other products I have had a certain allotted amount of suport time. Coupled with the excellent help articles I feel like I can fix any issues.
We have been able to use the tool for different types of events becuase of the flexability that this tool offers.
I appreciate that we can have lots of users. We are able to have multiple departments using this tool and also allow for others to have access so that as the event planner I dont have to be the only one who has to do everything.
I also have really felt heard by my support team. There have been times where we have submitted suggestions in how to make the end user experiance easier and I feel that we have been heard and if its something that can be adjusted they take that on and make the update. I am now using Accelevents for my 2nd confernce and I like that they are constantly updating and improving. Accelevents really listens to ideas for improvements and implements those ideas.
When I need to chat for help the chat is SO FAST - Like no wait time (even in the middle of the night 🤣)

That you have to load multiple photo sizes for a vendor/exhibtor and that the system can not adjust the images on its own. However, they just added a new feature to import an exhibitor from a previous event - so for the repeat vendors the work is already done. This was actually a request that I had that was implemented.

There were bugs here and there, but they had fixed them in recent years. We've been using the platform for 4 years and are happy.
Some missing convenience features should be easy to implement. For example, you can't copy surveys/Polls or automatically have a rating poll after each session (you need to create a separate one for each session and attach it to it). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I researched several different providers and landed on Accelevents as the best value for overall features and customization. The entire team is amazing, with exceptional response time via chat support. I was able to customize anything I needed for implementation and the system was user friendly. I'm at our event right now (September 2024) and we've already decided to use it for an event in February 2025.
One of the biggest bonuses and reason for picking Accelevents was also their integration with Square for credit card processing (everyone else used Stripe). We also utilized the integration with our new HubSpot system.

If I had to pick one thing that was quirky it would be the mobile app. It was a bit cumbersome for us. But, we are an in-person event only. Sometimes people would be redirected to the browser instead of the actual app and they'd get frustrated. We would be able to assist 9 of 10 times, but the overall experience can be better.

The Website is easy to use and i really like the style, the visual is very pleasing. The Number of features could be really overwhelming, but here comes the user service. They're so fast and nice and give me very useful tips how i can solve my problem. There are so many features and possibilities to implement my content the right way. The fast and friendly chat response is amazing. We got started quickly for an event and loved it so much we're migrating everything over now. The platofrm is so easy to customize each event and that's vital to how we work. It also syncs up with our Salesforce account so I can see and compile our data in different ways.
