The simplicity of the setup. The platform is user friendly and easy to understand. The number of options to get notified is appropriate for our company, as we don't have our phones on us at all times. Email and Teams notifications are a huge plus. The app is not in french (we are based in Quebec, Canada), but it allows us to customize any message we want, which is perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside we noticed is the fact that we can't put a schedule in. For example, if i'm away from 1pm to 4pm on a given day, there's no way the visitor can know. You still get the notification, but you're not on site. A custom message saying ''i'm away, please refer to X'' would be a good add on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The receptionist has made a huge difference for our practice in being able to manage patient flow when our office manager is not in (ie. after 5 PM and on weekends, when many of our providers offer sessions). It is also such a helpful tool to simply let the providers know when their clients have arrived! We have a big building, so no more trapsing down the hall and awkwardly lingering, looking for our clients. It was crazy easy to set up, and I had it running the day I got it. We love it! I like the customization options as far as button appearance and titles. It is simple to setup and implement.
The customer support is helpful and receptive. However, blaming the device manufacturer for shortcomings is not very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The devices do not always communicate and often become disconnected from the network and/or Bluetooth stops working occasionally. There are limitations as far as what options can be added. The pictures printed on the badges could be much better. I understand it is thermal printing but in 2025, there should be better options considering the price.
I also don't like how the price is determined by the number of contacts. And the lowest is 24 contacts. That is very, very low. An office that small would probably not need something like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to use and how it solves our departments issues with finding coverage for the front window. The implementation was really easy and so was the set up. Customer support has been great! Rain answers all of my questions no matter how many times I call her. We use the system all day long and it's nice to have a virtual way to track people coming and going. For our staff it has been really easy to integrate into our department. There are some features that I would like to see be added, first the one minute timer is short for responding, I would like to see some customization in being able to expand that time. I also would like to see different time delays between message rules for users, we are a Probation office and sometimes things need to be longer than 10 minutes before it goes to the next person. It would be cool to be able to send responses to the client's through phone and team alerts, versus just getting a notice. I would like to see the ability to send forms directly to the client and have them be able to fill them out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the the Receptionist is so easy to setup and learn. It has become a great asset to our practice. The counselor and client like the user friendly app.

I would like me information aka compliance guides on secure facilties such as ITAR registered. facilities. How to check documentation, what documentation would be flagges, ect.. I would also like there ID's (drivers license) be crossed reference with the united states watch list, and automatically flag visitors that are not permitted into the secure facility.
